 Welcome, Fáilte, Willkommen, Bienvenue etc. FTL is a literate roleplay based on the BBC/Shine drama 'Merlin'. While we're not overly strict, we must ask you read the rules and the plot before joining. It saves any complications later. Have Fun! - Staff.
After the unfathomable heat of the last few months, winter has finally arrived in our fair Camelot. The King is hosting banquets for visiting nobility while the servants begin the decorating of the castle for the winter festives. Everyone is invited and, if you're not nobility, the royal servants will be more than happy to have you attend their little get togethers either in the servants quarters or in the lower town.
We are currently accepting both canons and originals but would be much appreciative if you adopted a canon. The administration as that when you apply, you do so with your First and Last name if nobility (with Lord or Lady before it) or if you are a servant, just use your First name. If you are a knight, the same rules apply as if you were nobility, only place a Sir at the start. The staff are able to change your name after registering but it's a tedious business so please, save us the time we could be using on other site things.

She's very smart, very beautiful and very frightening too, and well she's the only person I know that Uther treats well...like a person. Sometimes, Lady Morgana might be quite vexing. I mean don't tell her that, but you know, she does act like she's always right. Truth is that she usually is. Right, I mean. And by no means I'm not being disrespectful here, sometimes it's a bit too much. She's a brilliant friend really, scary though, and well you'd rather have her on her side than not, only Arthur is stupid enough to think otherwise"

"I sort of get the impression that Percy is afraid of me. For the most part the Knights are all the same, self righteous and big mouths. They all like to be flashy and brash, all vieing for favour. However Percy is different, he's quiet like a church mouse. I get the impression he watches everything though and dosn't miss a trick."

"I met Morgana on my...second on third day here. Well no really - I think I saw her at the execution when I arrived, up at the window. My first thought was 'She looks so lonely' and then when I actually met her, I [i]knew she was lonely. I don't mean to sound big headed but I think I'm one of the very few people that actually 'gets' Morgana you know? If I'm at odds with Arthur, 99.9% of the time she'll take my side over his (which in't actually a good thing). I'm still really grateful to Morgana for helping my mother and the village against Kanan.
