 Can New Created Objects Be Used?

Hi, I have a few questions about custom objects.

Can Maya, 3D Studio Max, or Blender objects be put into Starsiege Tribes 1?

I know the ZED editor was used to make the game models, and ZED makes .zvl files, then the Zed Tools convert .zvl to .dis

But ZED I think is a custom 3D editor and .zvl and .dis are custom file formats that Maya, 3D Studio Max or Blender and such dont use, and i am thinking that it is not possible to use Maya, 3D Studio Max, or Blender objects in the game because everything used to make the game I think are all custom, custom programs that make custom files to go in a custom game engine.

I have been able to add custom ZED made files that others have made into the map editor from http://www.planettribes.com/catalog Following the directions on their site here - http://www.planettribes.com/catalog/vol_ins.html

But is there a way to use Maya, 3D Studio Max, or Blender Models? (All these are compatible with eachother)

I Know that There are .DTS files in the Tribes/Base/Entities.vol file, and I know that Blender has a downloadable plugin to export to .DTS format, So I Can Build an Object in Maya then Export it to .obj format to open it in Blender, then Export that to .DTS Format, But then what? Can custom .DTS objects be imported into the game? And if so how? I am thinking that the only way to get custom Objects in the game is through ZED

I posted the same question on the Pushbiscuit forums in the Graphics section titled Can New Created Objects Be Used?, and all Credit to TE-krogoth who has Answered this question and helped me get a Custom object from Maya into Starsiege Tribes 1!!
