after 2 mins i see a bk message. The person who's turret was killed initiated a vote to kick him? of course it didn't pass. I and Dope were laughing our ass off saying how can a owner be kicked.
surprisingly our so called Bong initiated a vote to kick the guy whose turret he killed, it didnt pass and he initiated a vote to kick me

after 6 mins he comes back as [df]Republic
in reality repub writes his name as [df]RePuBliC or something like that with caps in the middle and i had also talked to him 2 hours before n he was offline for sure.I admin kicked him and it went thru [note rep is a super admin]
Now he comes back as admin-abuse. I kicked him again
==>After 6 mins he comes back as [df]eatme. Luckily we identified him and <!>blue was also there and we told him to ban that guy

Is it possible for some of the [df] admins to get promoted from public to super? I can't ban. LOL

Also, it seems like half the players are admins. I'm not so sure but I think that's pretty bad for the server. Just my .02.

I had problems with that guy too. He starts to disrupt the game and, after kicked, he comes back as "ADMIN ABUSE VICTIM". Then I just ignore him until he acts up again. Is he a second version of Tomato (just kidding xD)?

it allows u to register u name.

so that if someone connects with your name and cant provide hte proper password the server automatically kicks him for being a smurf.

u have to press !register n it registers u. But u have to save a password in the other info section

I just wrote a login script that uses sad();

The first time you use it, it registers your username and password.

If you use it again while logged in, it'll change your password.

If the name is registered, you must log in before it'll allow you to select a team or use the tab menu.

What a terrible idea; those of us with vista issues (not many, but i've met 1 other in my rare time playing with the same problem I have) who cannot access the console.

It's built into the mod using the "other info" field to secure your identity in trpg - particle's mod.

Coming back to the point guero made, u need to reduce the number of admins in the server
in my opinion[For other clans] u can allow 1 god admin for the leader of a clan with a maximum of 3 sub admins for the other members of the clan. To whom it is given can be at the discretion of the clan leader.

Im sure this should reduce the excessive admin creation especially from OZ [not sure of TL] indiscriminately issuing admins to all their members
i remember Rage{OZ} saying that he never had admin and "BAM one day i logged in and i had it" How did this happen?

-currently OZ has 2 god admins =tree and crow [various sub admins]
-Pushbiscuit also has 2 god admins= Blue and redneck[few sub admins]
-i don't think TL has any god admins but i think destiny or sub zero can earn one[Dope and Linux have super and public respectively]

It's not that big a deal to me, but since you ask. Guero thinks he runs shit. If you're doing anything he doesn't like, even as simple as having a conversation with someone (as in my case), he will take action. He can't play worth a shit, so thats his only way to assert dominance. It wasn't that big a deal, I think I got muted for a min or 2. Just looks bad for you guys when I ask Crow, "what's your clan's policy on hm these days?" Then I get muted and Guero says, like he's some kind of big swingin dick, "I told you no more talking about hm, anybody else?" :angry:

well thats harsh..the right to speech is permitted as long as u are not spamming...may be the point in his mind was that u are spreading the existence of hm to more players how still don't use it...although its not a secret anymore...

well, I don't want people taking sides. My only point was to your leaders, Guero has always acted like he was big shit, intimidating and threating others with his admin. If they did or said anything he didn't like, they faced consequences. That is not what admin is about.

If you didn't notice, I was being polite to you, while telling all the other ones to shut the fuck up. I do respect you and heck, maybe even admire you. Yes Ninetails, part of the reason why I started muting and kicking was because like 3 other "noob" players were asking what HM was. I didn't want 3 other "noob" HMers. Also, I had warned all the ones involved in the argument on global chat like 20+ times to leave the topic alone, or to go on Xfire and start a conference or something. No one listened. I hate the fact that I can't mute for like 15 or 30 seconds, it has to be 60 or 120. I also hate the fact that Brazil server does not have a warning system. Anyway, the 60sec mute was meant as a "warning" for you Jerry. I know Bong that I could've just ignored them on the game, but I didn't want HM to spread.

My sincerest apologies to you Jerry, I hope we can go back to being buddies, if we were ever that.

guero . if they bug u ignor them or mute them(not detougne).. you dont have a right as admin to police peoples conversations.

HM is available everywhere and if someones gonna use it they are gonna use it.

Censoring the 1st amendment, Lol Guero you know better. As some advice, cursing at people rarely has the desired effect when requesting something from them. If administrating is stressful you can choose not to do it.

People are gonna find out about it no matter what. The best thing to do to stop new people from getting it is to voice the other side. Of course some HMers are gonna tell these noobs to get it, that its cool, whatever. Thats why we need to talk to the noobs, tell them what it is and tell them how the community feels about it. Tell them that it is cheap, and that they should not get it. We need to educate them in that direction, becuase if we dont then they will go the other way when some HM using player teaches them about that.

Actually I have a pretty good idea in that aspect. But I'll need perrin's help.

in my opinion he hasn't made his mod 1.30 yet coz
1) 50% traffic on the server are hmers, so if hm doesnt work his traffic reduces by half
2)I think he hosts his server from somewhere far, where he doesn't have access to it on daily basis so he prefers to leave it that way.

kamil is super busy right now.. he works 2 full time jobs a day.

The server is hosted in Seattle.

I appreciate the apology, and the manner in which you replied, especially after I said some not so nice things.
Of course you are not delusional, we were friends, and we always fought on the same side, whether it be against hm, spammers, or just jerks in general.
I am extra upset because of how it all went down. I was already pissed from the argument, then when you muted me, it put me over the top. Ya, in the whole scheme of things, that mute wasn't so bad, but coupled with my already existent anger, I got real pissed.

It is not a problem we can't get past, but this incident has made me think differently of you, so you will need to earn that trust back.
All I really want out of this is for you to understand your mistake, which I think you have, and become a friendlier and more helpful admin. :D
