A couple of days ago i was playing in the df server when all of a sudden i was being slapped by dfFade, and he was slapping several other players and sending them to the moon. then one of df came in and asked why he was doing it and dfFade started doint it to the other df person, I think its gero or something like that. why is there abuse like this in your server and will gero please testify to this.

Well well, I wasn't gonna post about it but since someone already has, I guess I'll just expand on it. It's Güero by the way.

I logged into the server, and I immediately read about Fade slapping two players, Sniper=XL here and someone else I don't recall. I went into observer mode and observed both Sniper=XL and the other person, they were both just tending to their business, just walking around looking at their teammates set up D. Well, after a couple of slaps and moon launchings I asked Fade what was his reason to abuse these players. He said it was none of my business and I said, "It's admin abuse, of course it's my business." After not getting a reply I threatened to come to the admin abuse forums, that's when he decided to admin abuse me by slapping me, sending me to the moon, l33ting me, globally muting me, and finally de-admining me. I don't know what Sniper=XL and the other player did prior to me logging unto the server, but there was ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to do that to me.

I then told Bong about it in a PM because I didn't want to seem like a bitch, he asked for me to get on XFire. After installing XFire again I went to the server, Bong was there, I asked him to please fix this, he told me to go into obs (I didn't know what that meant, though I assumed it was observer mode) but he then got pissed and logged off. To this day it's unresolved.

Also, Blue was there too and when I asked for his help there was no response. Is he getting too old to read too (LOL)?

1. SniperXL, do not come here, posting complete crap and claiming to be a victim. You were boosting like crazy and not responding to my frequent requests to stop. Assuming you didn't speak English (like your companion booster, TurkishWhatever.EXE) you and he were slapped each time you boosted a player, be it myself or Blue. I was in a very patient mood that day, otherwise you both would have been kicked for your annoying behaviour.

2. Guero, you are a fuktard my lad.

You jumped into a situation that did not concern you, and presumed abuse was going on. Stating this in global chat makes not only you look bad, but everyone in this clan. Blue did not reply to your words, because he felt the same way as I did about you.

3. Furthermore, you were not slapped or sent to the moon. You failed to stop banging on in global chat about 'abuse' so I muted you. I stripped your admin because in my opinion, after that, you've shown yourself to be a child. The fact you paint the picture the way you have is only testament to your very childish approach.

4. I, like Blue, and several other players who admin well (you are and never will be in that category Guero) each admin in our own way. Most of those that fuck about do not speak English, and the warning system, well, you never know what language they speak. Bong might choose to question how I admin, and that's his right, but not yours kid!

He doesn't like nor need little tittle-tattling like this, nor do I. Its annoying and beneath us. Grow the fuck up !!!!

G, for your fourthly, reputations and hearsay are irrelivant, they cause misinformation and assuptions, however, your other arguments appear sound. Again however, unless the logs are mined and made public we [the public] will not know anything accept your word agaist his word.

Chances are Bong will come by and say "Stop it guys, I don't like drama and you keep bringing drama". Just a guess. Either way I know what it is like to feel right, or feel violated, and want closer on the subject, amongst admin back.

For the sake of [df] do not name call and be hurtful to eachother, we are a society and we do not want a division between us. Be patient and the truth will come out, a decision will be made. The winner or loser of an arguement only shows who is the better arguer or liar. The logs will speak the truth, just wait.

Guero, I have to agree with fade on this, it wasn't right to say the Fade was admin abusing in the server on global chat you should have whispered to him to ask him why, when you say stuff like that you make it look like the clan dosen't care if the people playing on the server are having fun, but that they only care if they are having fun. I would suggest that next time you should think very carefully before you act.
That is just my advice and my opinion on the matter at hand.

While we are on admin abuse I have a few questions?

When one admin changes the text of another, is that admin abuse?

I know about this because it happened to me, I don't know who did it to me and no admins name came up when it happened. With that statement I am not saying admin abuse occurred and I am not making a complaint or accusation in any way.

The first screen shot you can clearly see that someone changed my text.



Here in the second one, I clearly accuse Blue and Fade, that I am sorry for because I had no evidence it was either of them, however, I thought it was so I started fucking with them back.




Here in the third, a slightly clearer image and some overlap. Also some guy wanted to vote Fade to be kicked, don't know why.





So to recap, I am not accusing anyone of anything, I am only curious of who it was. When one admin changes the text of another, is that admin abuse? Why, I already know was for fun.

Ok I will put in my 2 cents on this matter. I will only type about this once.
First for you Guero:

Had you been on the server when fade and I started kicking people and sending them to the moon. You would have seen we were both being pitch forked by several players on our team. I don't mind being pitched once in awhile. When I am pitched into a wall till I die does anger me some. Slapping them and sending them to the moon a few times, we hoped would stop the people pitching us. See the error of there way's so to speak. But some people learn the hard way. You may ask why we didn't take there forks?
There were to many, if memory servers me correctly there were four people pitching us. You were not there for that. So to come in and accuse fade and/or myself of abuse was not the wisest thing to do.If you wanted to accuse us, never do it in global chat. Fade leeted you to stop you from just that. You didn't learn that way so the only other way was to strip you of your admin and global mute you. A bit excessive but got the job done. Since you were, so it seems only accusing fade I kept out of it. But had you done that to me I would have done about the same thing fade did.
Ok done with that.

For you Miner:
Yes it is true that both fade and myself leeted you. This was done in fun only. Fade and I do it to eachother from time to time. It is funny I think.

Guero, I will help you out here cause you seem to always have good intentions, despite occasionally acting inappropriately. The only problem here is your behavior. What you have to understand is that there is a heirarchy and you are at the bottom. If you look at it like Bong is your God, then Blue and Fade are your profits. You must never question them no matter what they do.
I understand your point Guero, and while, what you percieve to be, negative actions by df members, can make you look bad as a part of df, they make Bong look much worse, so let him handle it and decide what actions are truely inappropriate. Also, next time you encounter this, trust that the higher ups know what they are doing, because they do. The faster you learn, and abide by, this, the more you will be liked. It's harsh but true, please dont get defensive Im just tryin to help.

Admin abuse to eachother can be fun, but abusing forkers and BKers never works. The admin action used against a rule breaker should prevent them from breaking the rules again, not provoke them into breaking more.

for instance, if they are forking, strip fork. this will have one of 2 results. #1, they can't fork anymore, and don't. #2, they break a different rule and you kick them due to their obvious aversion to rules.

slapping, sending to moon, blinding, all of these actions are worthless and only serve to annoy other players, don't use them.

if a player is getting into places on a map where they shouldn't be, and disrupting the game that way, respawn them.

All admin actions should be preceeded by a warning or at least an explination. that's PRECEEDED, as in before you strip their fork, say, "stop forking people or I will revoke your fork." amd before killing someone who is being a sneaky snake, say, "stop being a sneaky snake or I will kill you like a mongoose!, you sneaky snake!"

There is no straight forward, all simple way to admin. The way a person may be encouraged to stop acting like a wang differs from situation to situation, player to player and admin to admin.

I don't like removing the fork unless its a last resort, as its then permanently removed, unless you or someone else returns it or they're ip allows them to have it again. I always warn, but knowing what language they speak is tricky, so a warning with a slap I find to work best.

As for sneaky places, sneaky is sneaky, and not breaking any rules. I get and have gotten into some well crafty places, and do not expect, nor would I, respawn someone for doing this.
