Alright, so my time has been being consumed by something other than FFO- how unusual of me, no?

Well, the thing guilty of consuming my time is an MMORPG Mabinogi, where you live your fantasy life. I'm sure you're thinking that "live your own fantasy life" would make that game some kind of anti-violent, happy girly game- it's not.

I've downloaded many games before, trying to find one I could set myself to; Fiesta, Shaiya, Twilight MU, Last Chaos, FLYFF, Elf Online, Maple Story (bleh), and now Mabinogi.

I can say I've finally found it- this game right here.

(Click the underlined "right here" if you didn't realize it's a link to Mabinogi.)

I've played it, it was decent, the people are somewhat friendly, however it's laggy for me, most likely cause my video card is like busted so it's using on board video.

Best way for me to think about it, would be it's a an anime'ish Rune scape heavy on the music, it's FREE to play, but like most MMO's has a cash shop, and the cashshop pretty much limits your cheap ass alot... you can't look all that custom with out paying... your powers will be greatly limited.

The only extra thing you'd really need would be the Rebirth Card- which is pretty much $10.

You could buy a card at a Target or CVS Pharmacy if you didn't want to pay through the internet. That's what I do, all I do is go out to CVS Pharmacy, buy a $10 Nexon Card, go home, and enter the pin number on the back of the card.

One of the main reasons I like the game is because I don't lag at all, I wonder what was making you lag...it probably is your video card, like you said.

Edit: They sell them At '7 Eleven' too, haha. Some gas station, I guess.

7-11s are in my area.

They're awesome.

Also, Nexon huh? I make it a general rule to stay away from them.

Bad experiences with Maple Story.

it's a really good and finally-unique-from-the-norm korean mmo but it's a veiled disguise for a p2p mmo; you have to continually pay to rebirth your character if you want to continue being capable of levelling up

I've played it and I have to say the skill development system is quite unique, and the combat is the best I've ever seen in an MMO... the only problem is that they don't do much with it. There's so much potential in the combat and skill systems, but they never take it anywhere! Instead they just provide a handful lackluster combat and magic skills and a bunch of craft and life skills... and a game that focuses on crafting stuff isn't a very exiting game, I could see it as a side feature next to the combat, but as the primary feature of the game that takes in all the focus it's pretty boring.

It's a new game, which is why there isn't way too many extra things, but there's still plenty to keep you occupied.

It takes 3 weeks for you to even be able to rebirth, and to rebirth it only costs $10.

If you live by any of these stores: Target, Best Buy, 7 Eleven, CVS Pharmacy, Duane Reade, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Longs Drugs, Speedway, or SUPERamERICA, then you should be able to play the game without any troubles.

You can play for a very long time once you create your character before you even have to consider anything that costs money.

This game has it to where you don't choose one route; you can be mage, ranged unit, or combat unit all-together, since the game is based off of skill upgrades that you control yourself.

MMORPGs hardly interest me, so if I'm saying it's a good one, then it should be atleast worth trying- that is, if you aren't already too addicted to FFO...hehe, I know exactly how that is. =p
