Yeah the appeal issue was just for 1 day to a few weeks ban... This however would and possibly get an appeal, since this is a more serious ban.

You may want an appeal, but will an admin want to do your appeal?

in my opinion, i do not think it fair to permanently ban vigo and zkiller. they may have shared keys at one point or another, though this is apparently debatable, but it isn't like they wrecked the game or seriously screwed another character over. right? if i'm wrong, lemme know.

also, what is this evidence that keeps being spoken of? since this topic is about vigo's and zkiller's ban, can they be posted on this topic? just to let everyone else se for themselves.

another thing. Vigo stated that a few people have his key and password. could it have been that someone else entirely logged onto vigo's account and framed them? i know zkiller has been an ass to people in the past (so has vigo as i hear) and someone may have gone onto vigos account and framed them so they would be out of the way.
if this is true, your screenshots are not reliable and your accusation is not accurate. so your going to need more than a few screenshots to prove.

Adrindo makes a good point, one really doesn't EXACTLY know via those pictures, which also leads to the admin logs, perhaps those should be checked more often, and the players under suspicion could have their IP written down and kept in a location in which they can be checked when something like this happens with the admin logs to help confirm whether or not it was really them.

Of course that's just a suggestion, it'd help in something like this, but it's the admin's choice on whether or not to start that system up...

this is the most improbable answer. im sure someone would know (zkiller or vigo) that a 3rd party was on vigo's key and "telling people" he shares keys. as a matter of fact, it never came up before this. Truth is, Vigo rarely lies, and he opened his mouth to the wrong person? zkiller on the other hand, isnt smrt enough to lie his way out of this obviously. and as you can see by zkillers posts, its very true they were sharing.
personally, i dont like the key sharing idea.
1- you raise you're own character
2- you use you're own character
3- or you dont play the game

why does it have to be a mystery if im talking to say, Vigo (whos a friend) and its zkiller playing his guy with intentions of trying to fry me with VIGO'S powerful spells (and not zkillers himself that he cant get as powerful as vigos so he uses vigos. get what im saying?)

They're being quite reasonable in letting the thread remain open for people to voice their opinions on the matter, even though as of now the ruling is final, and none of the admins wish to review an appeal at this time.

Ask after tensions have cooled down instead of rapidly hitting F5 to argue about your ban and an appeal will be much more likely than when you try forcing one right after you were banned.

Do as Dean did, head outside and go fishing or something, spend time outside and think things over. Going into a frenzy or depression over pixels on a screen is not worth it in the long run.

I just want to say that even though it may just be "pixels on a screen", we're still using our time on these "pixels", so don't just go "it's just a game" or "it's only pixels on a screen" because we take time out of our lives to play it and everyone overreacts in this game in one way or another sometimes.

With that being said, why should Z have to wait to get an appeal? If he believes he did nothing wrong he is at no fault to ask for an appeal right away.

I could understand not wanting to give him an appeal if you had concrete evidence against Z, but you don't.

An appeal immediately given completely disregards the point of punishment. If someone is given a ban, fully agreed upon by all admins, there should be a minimum waiting period for an appeal. After all, if all it takes to get an appeal is to whine, bitch, and moan on the forums for a day or two to get an appeal for a permaban, it's a problem.

If he tries in a week or two, he's going to get a MUCH better chance of the admins being willing to work with an appeal, but begging for one immediately is spitting in the admins' faces.

I'd "spit in the admins faces", too, if I got blamed for something I didn't do.

And I have.

All of my admin bans in the last year have been overturned after an appeal which was asked for immediately.
