You may be able to tell from the base, but they have worlds of difference.

If you ended up finding custom icons ingame that are from other games and barely edited, feel free to post an SS of the other game using their icon, and an SS of their own icon/the icon file itself. Makes things easier than blanket statements of "oh there's icons from other games in here so thought i could do it too."

heh, somoene told me kimmehs icon was a rip and i talked to her about it, she said only the OW was a rip, cause that game only had an OW for the bunny.

It should be a sufficient enough change to where it's not going to jump out at you as to what the base icon is, in my opinion.

I wpuld advise you to ask Exophus about iconning things, he has a good grasp on how to do it, and he usually has free time to talk and whatnot.

Your original icon wasn't really much more than an Edgar recolor with *SLIGHTLY* modified hair, and that got in when the rules for icons were being more heavily enforced.

It's always been that way, ever since the beginning of time. Some people can get icons added into the game easier than others. The one thing that stopped that was Gaku checking them all before he put them into the game. That doesn't happen anymore.

Yeah, but unfortunately icon checking takes time and that means less time for Gaku to spend on Terulia.

I find these challenges to be extremely interesting....
