The Volturi have moved on and most of the secrets of the past have been revealed. The Cullen Clan, as well as those of La Push should now be able to finally live in peace and enjoy what happiness they have been given. Or, so they thought. As with the lives of most vampires, the story has not yet ended. Most of the Volturi have returned home, all but two actually. The twins have stated behind, a new mission of sorts in their mind. The elders have stated that Carlisle’s coven must now be watched more carefully. First, a human who knew the secrets of their kind, than a war was waged among them and wild newborns and now a child, who they still know nothing about lives among them.

The Cullen family is growing in size and in strength. Many of their friends; those once loyal to the Volturi would fight and die for them. Aro has left his two most trusted assassins behind. Their instructs are strict. Aro and the lot of them wish for certain Cullens to join them, this is a fact that is well known among them all. Furthermore, they want the clan broken down; they have showed themselves to be a true threat to the power and security of the Volturi.

No one is perfect and it is merely a matter of time before someone does something that they shouldn’t.

Then there is a second great interest, the Shape Shifters. They have never before bothered to learn of this kind, what harm could they ever do a vampire? If they will not join the vampires, then the vampires want to see them destroyed. They are not as picky when it comes to the creatures that were once believed to be wolves; for even the weakest one would teach them more then they know now.

The Cullen family has decided to remain where they are for the time being. Originally they had decided to leave; once all was said and done. However, running away would only further project nonexistent guilt. Besides, life has settled and they would all like to enjoy the limited peace that they have. The kids will start college now that its once again fall in Port Angela. Carlisle will continue his work at the hospital and Esma will keep the home as she always had and watch over Nessie. The little girl is doing well, as of now her growth has slowed somewhat, but for how long they are not yet sure. Most of the humans, who knew Bella as a human, see the chances but they do not ask questions. They never trusted the Cullen much and she is clearly one of whatever they are now.

Among all of this is the humans. Protected, for now, from Alec and Jane, at Carlisle request. Many are moving forward with college, other have lives taking a very different turn. Though they are human, the drama they see and feel each and every day knows no limits or bounds.

We all know the past now we must make a future. Maybe there will not be a happy ever after, maybe a pack member or brother are not what they seem any longer. Life always gets hard before it gets better but when you live forever, sometimes you cannot tell the difference in the passing years.
