So what’s happened so far?
Well basically, Alex Drake, ex-wife and dedicated mother, working as both a DI and Criminal Psychologist for the Metropolitan Police, was shot at point blank range by a very nasty, and now somehow rather insignificant, murderer. She was sent back to the eighties - or more specifically, 1981 - where she met one Gene Hunt and his band of merry men, who had coincidentally worked with one Sam Tyler, who also witness time travel after a fatal accident…
