The forest was calm that day; the sun was shining through the leafy canopy, the birds were singing amongst themselves, and the wolves were being kept busy and happy by a successful hunt they had had the evening before. All was silent and calm...
Until a blast of white light sent birds and forest creatures alike fleeing in all directions.
Jasmine, most accustomed to magic and the effects it had during travel, was able to recover first. As she dropped the hands of those she was holding, she looked around the peculiar place in awe. It was so...green! Just like Pixie Hollow, only...this had trees, EVERYWHERE. And there was a creek not too far from them...and what in the world was that rat with a fuzzy tail...? "Where are we?" she asked, continuing to look at their surroundings curiously.
Giselle was in heaven. As she recovered from the journey, she realized that there were fuzzy little creatures peering out at them from the trees and bushes. "Oh! Oh how adorable! Is this Andalasia? No...no, its not..." she decided, shaking her head. She put a finger to her chin thoughtfully, then shrugged with a smile. "But it has adorable little animals, and thats close enough!" Falling to her knees, she opened her arms wide for a little rabbit hiding in the brush. It simply stared at her before hopping away. Looking a little dejected, the girl lowered her arms. "Oh..."
As Belle regained herself, she glanced around, trying to place where they were. It LOOKED familiar, but she wondered if that was simply because she had read about the place...but no! She could see the castle towering in the distance! "Oh, this is my home!" she said with a smile, turning to the other girls. "Welcome to France." As she caught sight of the rather pathetic looking Giselle, she shook her head, resting a hand on her shoulder. "The creatures here are a little skiddish, you see. It's because of the wolves."
Giselle's eyes widened. "W-wolves? Oh, how dreadful! Do you suppose it's our mission to get rid of the wolves for the little creatures?"
Belle couldn't help but smile. "Somehow, I don't think its going to be that easy." Villians...if what the Blue Fairy said was true -- and Belle didn't doubt her at all -- then Gaston would surely be making a visit all too soon...she would have to keep her eyes open, and be prepared.

A funny feeling suddenly errupted. One moment, over ten girls were standing in Pixie Hollow and forming a circle by joining hands. Once all were together, they somehow ended up in this peaceful forest. Well, to put it this way, it was quite peaceful before they came. Flying and scurrying animals zoomed passed in every route of the forest.
"Just imagine!" Wendy Darling cried out as she released her grip from the hand of a blonde girl named Alice and a tropical-looking child. A few bird feathers and leaves fell onto Wendy's new and stunning enchanted dress. Scraping them off and glancing at the somewhat empty green forest, she wondered where could they be. It wasn't Pixie Hollow, nor was it Neverland. There were far too many trees occupying the area. Was it some enchanted forest?
She pushed her attention to the reaction of the other strangers. The Arabian one in light aqua-green seemed confused, the cheerful, readheaded girl in pink seemed to already enjoy herself, and then there was Belle, whom Wendy had already spoken to. It was her homeworld.
Oh! So they were in France? Wendy had not lived far from France. She had never been there. But what was it like? They certainly couldn't see with all the trees concealing the setting. "I do hope we are not going to be staying here in the forests," Wendy muttered. However, after Belle had mentioned there were wolves around here, Wendy was just about to yelp. How could they live amongst wolves?

As they finally arrived in their next destination, Meg awoke to an all but pleasing scene. Another forest. Great. So just how many of these places were they actually planning on visiting? Because if this was becoming some sort of a pattern, her enthusiasm would definitely drop. Not that she actually had too much of it to begin with... After finally being able to shake the dizziness from her system, she rose from the ground and took a better look at the place. Yup, definitely a forest. It actually didn’t take much looking to figure out that a tree plus another a few hundred others equaled one big green nightmare. And as charming as it was, you could handle so many before you finally snapped. Luckily, this was not one of those times and she hoped it never would be.
Breaking her train of thought, she allowed her gaze to travel to those that were already up and about and from looks of things there were only five. One of which had mentioned this place being her home, which obviously begged the question of how she knew that by looking at a bunch of dead, boring, trees… but after seeing something far off that resembled something of a home, Meg soon caught on to what she meant. "Well if this is France I just can't wait to see what's next on our little trip... who knows maybe it'll be even better to look at." She said dryly, looking to a disheartened Giselle as her attempts to call over some wary creatures failed. Wolves, they were called.
"Yeah, no problem there. We’ll send them running with their tails between their legs… All we need is a stick with fire and we’re good to go." She responded as Esmeralda mentioned that they could definitely take them on. She wasn't so confident in that fact, but it always helped to play along.

Mulan scrunched up her face unpleasantly as they traveled, quite unused to such a mode of transporation. She could hear Mushu making odd comments in her ear ("Well, that was not normal!"), but she couldn't quite find herself to be amused yet. Unknowingly, she gripped the two hands she was holding, dimly hoping somewhere in the recesses of her mind that she didn't hurt the two hands. Only when the ground reassembled underneathe her feet did she finally relax, albeit feeling a bit nauseus. Almost immediately she let go of the two hands, stumbling for a moment as she attempted to regain balance. When she did, she opened her eyes slowly, blinking rapidly as they adjusted to the light. She looked to her right, where the young girl (Snow White, she remembered) was, and grinned sheepishly. "Uh...First time," she explained, oblivious to the fact that it might be Snow White's first time traveling that way as well. Patting Mushu, who had turned into a pile of dizzy dragon goo on her shoulder, Mulan took in her surroundings with a acute sweep of the eyes, making mental notes. The warrior seemed slightly relieved at Belle's familiarity with the place - France, she'd called it - but at the mention of wolves (and the worries of a few girls), Mulan swept into defensive position, out of force of habit. Her hand was by her side instantly, where her sword, reacting to her needs, appeared in its sheathe. Relief flooded her veins and she gripped the handle, eyes sweeping back and forth, ears on the listen. She was glad she didn't have to transform to have her sword appear - she kind of found it embarassing.
Alice was beginning to think that this wasn't a dream at all. Her adventures in Wonderland had felt real, yes, but they hadn't made quite as much sense as this one (in a nonsensical way, of course), nor contained as many details. No one was changing (except the Chesire, but does he really have to count?), there were no questionable paths or creatures (besides some of the girl's guardians)...And she definitely wasn't changing shape. Although, changing outfits was a new one. But still...Something didn't seem quite right about it. Yet, if you think about it, if this all wasn't a dream, why would that intolerable cat be here?
"Thaaat...is a good question."
"I really wish you wouldn't do that."
Pip popped out of his safety spot on Giselle's dress, shaking his head all around to get the dizziness out. Like Giselle, he appeared excited at their new arrival, this amazing forest. He scurried out, scampering back and forth on Giselle's two shoulders, taking it all in. He stopped when Giselle attempted greeting some of the animals, ready to greet them as well, but his ears fell in disappointment when the rabbit ran away. To hide it, he mumbled to himself, "Scaredy rabbit..." And promptly ate his words at the mention of wolves. "W-wolves?!" His voice squeaked to unappropriate heights for such a small animal and he scampered back up Giselle's arm, hiding in the crook of her neck, trying to use her hair to cover him. But then he remembered he was supposed to be Giselle's guardian and he had definitely handled MUCH worse (dragons, trolls, Prince Edward, New York...), so he had NO excuse to be cowering like this. Taking a few deep breathes, Pip bravely pushed his way out of Giselle's hair (stumbling a few times) and marched out onto her shoulder, shoulders high and chest puffed out. "I can handle those wolves! They'll be no match for me!" Oh yes. He could defintely handle some mangly mutts.

Pocahontas smiled as they landed in another forest, and some of them fell down, herself included. It reminded her somewhat of home, the smells, the forest-y feel of the place, the animals and the whole atmosphere of the place! But yet at the same time, she could sense the darkness and the fear that the wolves had instilled in the other animals. She dusted herself off and stood up. Several girls spoke, one speaking of getting rid of the wolves being their mission here, another of fighting the wolves, and a third sounding like she wasn't quite believing the girl who talked about sleeping on a bed of leaves and getting rid of the wolves.
She said, " This place, it somehow reminds me of home. And to agree with our gypsy friend, you can only sleep on a bed of furs so many times before it too gets old. I will admit that furs are more comfortable than leaves, but still, it does get old. And you, miss I'll-play-along-if-it'll-get-me-home, you think a stick lit on fire will get rid of the wolves? It's not that simple, the wolves have as much right to live in this forest as the rabbits and birds do! I do not like the feeling of this forest very much. Although I do live around one myself, the forest I know is bright and although there are dark places, the forest as a whole makes you feel at home. I agree with our leader, we should find a safer place to stay, perhaps the castle in the distance. Surely the owner of such a place will let us stay for a while."
She suddenly realized that Meeko wasn't on her shoulder anymore and glanced around for him, then spotted him about to run into the bushes around them. She called out to him, " Meeko, come back here, I don't know where we are and I don't want to lose you to those wolves! You're like my child." She really hoped that her calling to Meeko hadn't completely destroyed her creditability with the other girls. After all, Meeko was like her child, she'd practically raised him from a cub herself-with some help from Keetka and Nakoma- when some of her people's hunters had accidentally killed his mother! He treated her as his mother in every respect but one, and that one respect was always obeying her commands!! After all, he was still a wild animal and so had to obey the urges of his species and not just Pocahontas!! She respected that and let him do so, at least when she knew the terrain and the territory! In England, she'd often left him at John Rolfe's house in the care of Uttay or that of Mrs. Jenkins. Now she would keep him by her side all the time for his safety and for hers, well perhaps she would allow him to wander around once they got to Virginia!!!!!!!

It took some time for Snow White to recover from the transportation which was a dizzying event, not just from the weightless feeling of flying and bright lights, but the effects of magic as well. Unlike her stepmother, Snow has never had business with magical items or spells before. She slowly released Lilo's hand and wavered a bit, before facing Mulan. She responded to her grin with a smile of her own but wasn't sure what to say except for "Mine too".
Upon looking round at their surroundings, it didn't affect her at all that they were in a forest. Of course, it was a familiar environment for her, but she thought the whole world - all of their worlds - had locales just as the ones back in her own home. It hadn't occurred to her yet that the girls' varying appearances and odd-looking guardians were any indication of the opposite.
"Oh no, we frightened them," she meant the birds and animals which took off and hid away, leaving the woods around them quite empty, and despite Giselle's welcoming approach, would not come out. Kneeling down beside the other girl, she held out her hands as well, to no creature in particular. "We din't mean it. Please, come back," she beckoned.
That's when the girl named Belle mentioned the wolves. Get rid of the wolves for the little creatures? They wouldn't even know what hit them? Meg's response was especially frightening, whether she was kidding or not. It was understandable that the girls were scared, Snow White too let out a gasp, but they couldn't mean that, could they? Even Giselle's little chipmunk was putting on a show of offensiveness.
Snow White rose to her feet and took a hesitant step forward, repeating her thoughts aloud. "You... you don't mean that, do you?" She looked into each girl's eyes as if desperately searching for something, her gaze resting on the warrior who gripped at her sword. "I mean, they haven't done anything to us. The poor ol' wolves are probably scared of us, as much as these little creatures. Perhaps even more scared than we are of them..." her voice died down and a feeling of awkwardness set in. She didn't know why she said what she did, never having seen a wolf for herself, but she was sure the other girls would hate her now. That is, until she heard what Pocahontas had to say. So she wasn't the only one! Oh, what a relief.
As some of the girls mentioned needing a place to stay, she remembered Belle saying that this was her home. Surely, she didn't sleep in the woods! Brightening up a little, she approached the French girl with an ingenuous question. "Do you have a cottage or a house all of us could stay in? Or is that lovely castle yours?"
Meeko, meanwhile, had begun to scout the new territory which they suddenly fell into. What better way to get to know your surroundings than to explore them? He could never figure how the people could be content to just stand there and chatter away. But before he could scamper off into that thick shrubbery, he heard an all too familiar voice call that all too familiar word, which made him stop and turn his head. He hesitated a bit, really wanting to see what was there. Maybe there was some food! He was, as a matter of fact, beginning to feel hungry. With a front paw raised, his eyes darted back and forth between Pocahontas and the bush. She did look worried. Finally he headed back towards the group, grumbling. Maybe they knew where to get something to eat, in which case he better stick close.

Terk was rather annoyed/confused/disturbed by everything going on here, and she STILL didn't even really have a good explaination of what was going on, but that didn't stop her from leaning over to speak to the guardian closest to her to ask, "...what's a wolf?" Sounded dangerous.
All of this talk of wolves...it was rather startling. Some of the girls were claiming they could easily take on the wolves...but Snow White seemed to be defending them. Looking over at the girl who had kneeled beside her, she blinked, then realized she could understand her point. After all, even as scary as the wolves would be...they were only doing what came natural to them. Still...
Blinking, she looked down as Pip began his outburst, claiming that he could take on the wolves. Lifting an eyebrow at this, she turned her head to look at him. "Now now, Pip...lets not get excited..." The idea of actually going out LOOKING for the wolves to confront them was not sounding very appealing, to her. She was hoping the others would feel the same way...
Belle laughed as the girls started to discuss the issue of sleeping in the forest, covering her mouth with her hand to be polite. "Oh, don't worry! We won't stay in the forest any longer than we have to." Looking to Snow White, she offered a smile and a nod. "I do live in that castle, beyond the trees there! It's master will surely let you stay if he knows you are friends of mine." she promised. Friends...an odd word. They'd only known each other for what seemed like a few minutes...maybe an hour or two tops...
Jasmine was listening to the current conversation idly, ready to move and not just sit around. The faster they dealt with this, the faster she could get back home where she belonged. As she looked around the group, she realized how different all of their clothing looked... especially compared to Belle's... "Question. How exactly are we supposed to blend in here? We look like the traveling entertainers just paraded into the city."
As she said this, she felt a change come over her body. When she looked down, she gasped, realizing that in a small burst of sparkles, her outfit had once again changed. But it wasn't that fancy version of her favorite outfit, this time. Oh no...this time, she was wearing something rather similiar to Belle, except for in the teal color she was used to wearing. "What in Allah's name..."
Giselle squealed, clapping her hands. "Oooh! Let me try!" Squinting her eyes shut, she thought about the dress that Belle wore...and with a poof, she was wearing one of her own, done up in a lovely shade of pink (more similiar to that of a Silly Girl, Belle immediately noticed.) "Oh! How perfect!" the Andalasian princess giggled, clasping her hands together.
Belle stared at the two girls, crossing her arms thoughtfully. "This must be part of the gift Aurora's three fairies gave to us...the ability to fit in with our surroundings!" She glanced at the other girls. "Can you do it too?"

Wendy stood in astonishment at the Arabian girl with black hair. How surprising it was to see her clothes change just with a wink of an eye! Wendy whole-heartedly assumed she should expect some sort of girly magic of the same sort. She certainly couldn't go around in that blue nightgown of hers! But then again, what about the weather? How were they to predict how cold, or how warm it was going to be? Judging by the other girls, Wendy assumed their clothes were just alright. Agreeing with Belle on Aurora's three fairies, Wendy waited patiently for this magical 'gift' to come.
A very funny sensation came, along with sparkles swarming all around the tiny figure of hers. Within a moment, she found herself still wearing blue, and with the blue bow in her brunette hair. Looking down at her feet, Wendy noticed that her black shoes disappeared, but were replaced with light blue slippers. Another different aspect was that there were laces everywhere! To her surprise, it was no longer a nightgown-but a more modern blue dress that Wendy assumed would help her 'blend in'.
"My word! That was quite magnificent!" She gasped as she held part of the skirt, and fiddled with the laces.

Ariel opened her eyes to one of the strangest things she had ever seen. They were on a stretch of dirt road, similar to the one she drove the carriage on, after her first day in Eric's kingdom. However that road didn't have as many weird...of what were they called? Trees? Still, despite the fact that she was no where near a body of water, this new world still had some charm. "Very pretty." she said, turning to Belle. "You live here?"
It was a great shock to her when the Arabian girl's Jasmine. Her name is Jasmine. outfit morphed into a replica of Belle's. After a few more girl's did the same thing, Ariel decided to try it out for herself. Sure enough her fancy dress had morphed into the plain blue dress she loved. Complete with the large bow in her hair.
Bursting with excitement she called out, "Isn't this exciting?" and moved into a twirl like the ones she was learning in dance class. Unfortunately, Ariel was still learning to balance on her new legs and promptly got her shoes tangled on her dress and fell into the ground. Frowning, she pulled off the shoes. "Why do women's shoes have these ridiculous thingamabobs on the bottom and men's don't?" she asked. "Can't I have a pair of flat shoes too?" No sooner than she had asked, the heels of the shoe shrank, leaving Ariel with a pair of ballet flats.
Once she was back on her feet, Ariel joined up to the main group. Eyes wide with curiosity she asked, "So...what are wolves?"

Pocahontas was glad to see Meeko listen to her, hopefully, they'd get to that castle quickly. Then she saw that the other girls were closing their eyes and their outfits morphed into either familiar dresses or new dresses. She decided to do the same, she would only stick out more in her own outfit than she would in a proper dress. She closed her eyes and thought of a simpler tan version of her English ball gown. When she Opened her eyes, she saw that her outfit had changed into a simple tan semi-fancy dress without all the fuss and fanciness that her ball gown had had. She smiled and lifted her skirts to look at her feet, which were covered in tan colored heels. She took three steps towards the girl with the black hair who had agreed with her about the wolves and felt herself starting to fall. She stopped walking and closed her eyes again, focusing on her shoes and wishing for them to become more flat. When she opened her eyes, her shoes were now tan ballet flats. She gracefully moved closer to the other girl and smiled at her as she spoke to the one with the bright red hair in the blue dress, "wolves are bigger wilder version of dogs, who like to attack and eat the sick and old animals that are their prey. Some are good and some are bad. I have a feeling we're in a forest where the bad kind of wolves live. I suggest we make haste towards the castle. We will be safer and perhaps warmer there." If the master of the castle was really like the brunette French girl said he was, Pocahontas would feel more comfortable in his castle. The last thing she wanted was to be thrown into a dungeon again!! She'd seen enough dungeons to last her the rest of her life. She knelt in the dirt so Meeko could climb back onto her shoulder where he'd be safest and she'd feel better. Oh, to be able to speak to Grandmother Willow right now about all this. Well, she guessed that Grandmother Willow would just have to wait. Then as if she was back home, she felt the wind rustle all around her and then clearly heard her dear grandmother willow's voice, quiet at first, then slowly getting louder and clearer ,"Pocahontas, Pocahontas, Pocahontas. Listen to both the spirits around you, the spirit within and with your heart. They all will guide you on this new journey. Tell your companions the same thing. Explain to them what you mean, if you must."She smiled even brighter as the wind died down and the voice of her dear guide disappeared, leaving her with Meeko and her mother's necklace as her only reminders of home. She spoke again to all the girls this time, "I know this is going to sound strange, but I just heard the voice of my dear friend and guide, grandmother Willow, reminding me to listen to the spirits around me, the spirit within and to listen with my heart, she also told me to tell you all the same thing. What I mean by spirits all around you is that there are spirits all around us, they live in the water, the earth, the sky. They tell us things that we wouldn't know otherwise. The spirit within just means to listen to your own spirit and figure out what it means too. And listening with your heart is simple, you just listen to what your heart tells you about whatever situation you're in and to what you heart's telling you about what's happening or about to happen. If you put it all together, you are going to be guided well on your life's journey."

Friends... an odd word, but it made a joyous smile spread across her face. Belle called them her friends and nothing sounded better to Snow White. Well, almost nothing. She gave a bit of a start as the girls began to change clothes again, but this time, it seems, to blend in. Noting that they all looked very different, it made sense to her. "Oh, it's wonderful!" she commented on Giselle's dress.
Belle explaining that it was part of the gift of the fairies, and glancing at each girl, was a cue telling Snow White that this meant her too. It was her turn now. For a moment, she feared turning back to her rags. She remembered that awful dirty dress she wore while cleaning at the castle. What would these lovely girls and princesses think? Surely, it was worse off than Cinderella's dress.
But no sooner had she imagined it, the dress began to materialize on her. No, no, no! Shutting her eyes tight there was only one thought on her mind: Belle! When she took her hands away from her eyes, she saw that she was now in an exact replica of the French girl's dress. And not only that; why, she had her feet too! And her hands and- She touched her hair to find it in the exact same style. "Oops, sorry," she giggled.
Closing her eyes once more, she concentrated on... being herself, but more like the other girls in terms of garb. She particularly liked the design of Aurora's so it took on a similar black bodice, laced up in front. The shirt remained white, and the long skirt darkened to navy blue. With a sigh of relief that she finally succeeded, she raised the edge of her skirt and twirled like a few of the other girls did. Now she was ready to go to the castle and find out how well their disguises worked.
But why were some of these girls having such troubles with their heels? "Oh, do be careful!" she cried out, as it looked like Pocahontas was just about to fall over in them, and held out a hand in case she did fall into the ground just like the red-head before her.
Meeko was going to go and introduce himself to Pip and his girl but ended up trying to dodge all the sparkles that flew from the girls' dresses. He scurried beneath Poca's legs, thinking he'd be safe there, until a flurry of sparkles came down around him in the form of her new dress. He was happy to climb up onto her shoulder where he could see everything and he was now interestedly leaning towards the girl she previously spoke to, the one with the large bow in her hair.
