During the day the weather is beautiful. It's California after all right? On the nice days, it reaches around 70 degrees Fahrenhiet and at night it doesn't get below 30. California is the first state to get hit with a nation wide virus called Croatoan. It's slowly spreading north into Oregon, so watch out. It's as if Zombies have taken over the state of California and the residence are gone, or eaten. The population of 34,980 people have been infected by the virus.

Yo, Briana here. I've been jumping around this world for seventeen years now, but only found this body about two years ago. I was led to the crossroads by Johanna. If you listen close enough you can hear more coming soon. Lastly, I'd just like to use this opportunity to tell you my favorite episode is Hell House because it was my first and my favorite character is Bobby. Oh and I believe that, Johanna loves Dean.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Shane Raelle Hawes was born in Longview, Texas, but raised in Lindale. She had a fairly normal childhood, except for the fact that her parents were hunters. Shane grew up in the world of the creepy crawlies, and things that go bump in the night. Her father, Richard Lee, started teaching her about guns when she turned nine years old. As her father taught her about weapons, her mother Beverly taught her about all of the dangerous things her mother and father battle every month or so, depending on the thing they’re hunting. Her brother, Devon, is two years older than her, so he always had the advantage over her in fights; which her parents started having the two siblings spar when Shane was ten and Devon was twelve.
Shane and her brother went through school like any normal children because their parents have a steady home in Lindale, Texas. Around the time Shane was sixteen and Devon was eighteen, they went on their first hunt with their father and mother. It went better than expected by their parents. Richard and Beverly let the two siblings do the job, but they stood back in case they were needed. It seemed as if Shane and Devon were born for hunting. They had a natural ability to talk to each other without saying anything out loud. Beverly and Richard thought that it was because growing up the tow were really close, and all the way up through high school.
At age twenty-six, Shane is doing the best she can for herself. She knew her brother was at home, doing his own thing right now, but she couldn’t help but miss him. She had walked out the door one night with a duffel bag packed full of clothes and a few other knickknacks. Shane just wanted to experience the world through her eyes, and on her own. Her brother was pissed at her because he would have liked to go with her to help protect her, but she wouldn’t tell them where she was. She wanted to everything on her own. She hadn’t even had a proper boyfriend because of her brother and father scaring them away. She wanted to experience love, and losing that love. The only way to do that is to escape the over protectiveness that is her father and brother.
As for personality the word Feisty comes to mind. She doesn’t let anyone mess with her. If you get in her face, she’ll get right back in yours and make you regret it. That is even before her brother would get involved. The only reason Devon would jump in would be if you went to hit her and you were a man. Although, Shane has been known to knock a good sized man on his ass, and send him running with his tail between his legs. She’s a very big believer in fighting for what you want no matter how far, or how hard it seems to be to get to it.
Shane also believes in promoting being a strong woman and letting no man take advantage of you in a bad way. She just wants everyone to be happy and carefree. That’s the thing for Shane. She tries to take the easiest way possible out of situations. She doesn’t like seeing anybody hurt. As for breaking hearts, she’d rather hers gets broken, than her breaking someone else’s heart.
Shane is the way she is today because all of her life, she grew up with knowing mainly that things out of the ordinary go bump in the night. This is where Shane’s story picks up here: her trying to see life through her own eyes, and her brother trying to find her.
THE PLAYER BEHIND THE GAME
TELL US: I don’t really have a reason for picking her. I just know I really wanted to play a kick ass girl character with the face of Miranda Lambert. She’s my favorite singer. What draws me to the character is the relationship between her brother and her. My brother and I are a lot like that, even though I rarely see him now. Another thing that draws me to her is her personality in real life is a lot like mine. I think I’d be good at portraying her because she is a lot like me, in many ways. That’s mostly how I do my female characters. It helps me give them flaws that are realistic.

SAMPLE: Shane looked down her nose at her car. She knew she had forgotten something before she left that ten cent town; to fill up on gas. Grumbling she kicked the front left tire softly then grabbed the empty gas can and turned to start strolling on down the road back toward the last town she had seen. Shane glanced down at her iPod, which served as her watch. It was roughly almost twelve thirty. Hopefully a roadside station would be open. Sweeping her gaze from left to right, Shane realized she was in the middle of the woods, all alone, in the inky dark that the canopy of trees created.
Shaking her head she thought, ‘Don’t be whiny. There is absolutely nothing to worry about.’ Shane gently shook her head again and reached into her right side back pocket in her jeans. Feeling the rectangle that she oh so loved, she pulled it out and grabbed one of the small, round sticks that helped her to de-stress. Lighting it up as she walked, she pulled in a puff and blew out a light bluish/grey plume of smoke and sighed. Shane ran her eyes over the night sky, feeling sort of at home because of the peacefulness.
Smiling she kept heading toward the road side station that was closer than she actually thought. Scrunching her eyebrows together in thought, she remembered that the station wasn’t that close before.
“Shit.” She placed the gas can on the side of the store door, and dropped her cigarette butt then walked in to see what the hell the deal was. She couldn’t believe she was walking into a potential trap. A few weeks back she had run into a demon, and it got away. Not after having a nasty fight with the feisty young woman though. The body that the demon inhabited left with more than a few scrapes and bruises. She thought back to kicking the demon’s ass and smirked happily.
“You think that’s funny? I sure don’t.” she heard a dark voice whisper from the corner.
Swinging her head in the direction of the voice, she stopped smirking when she realized that it was the demon from a few weeks ago.
“You again? I thought we’d never see each other.” Smiling she stepped forward so her back wasn’t against the wall while facing the demon. That was the first thing her parents had taught her NOT to do. Shane heard her mother’s voice in the back of her head, ‘Don’t you EVER let me find you being backed up against a wall. That is the worst thing that could ever happen to you. If you get backed into a wall, that demon will have to take a number because I’m going to kick your butt first.’ Her mama would always rant about that.
The demon came at her, but just in time she started dodging and punching, while saying the exorcism spell. AS the demon threw Shane on the ground, Shane spit in its fake face, the finished the incantation. The demon and person screamed until there was no air left. She helped the man up; he thanked her and gave her free gas. Smiling she walked back to her car; happy that the night didn’t turn out too bad after all.
