Interesting! I wonder if this was a tool, or hex editing. I have heard of a shiny program, but a starter program...
I believe it could be in hex, just find chimchar's bytes and search for them. Though, it would be a lot of guessing and checkingm, and considering the length of diamond and pearl's intro., that would be a tedious task indeed!

Yeah, it's cool how they made Arceus, Darkrai, and Shaymin the starters (lol). I wish I knew how to edit the starters, things would be a lot more interesting in my (very small, just for the fun of it, only i play them) hacks. Anyways, if you find the program to edit starters, remember to post it here, I would love to use it!

Yes, only a matter of time until even amatuers like me will be able to hack Diamond or Pearl... (That is supposed to be in an eerie, weird accent)
