Alright, today I'm going to show you how to change the hero's intro sprite.

Materials Needed
Tile Layer Pro
Emulator/Rom

First: Open Tile Layer Pro.
Second: Open up your rom (I am using Diamond Jp for this example)
Third: View -> Format -> GBA
Fourth: Go to hex location, "038E2A80"

(After fixing the picture a bit) You should see this:

Fifth: Now let's change it to look like this:

Sixth: Now, open your rom and you should see this during the transformation:

There you are! Not much of a tutorial, but hey, it's something!

Um, I have tried this, and I found a whole bunch of numbers that looked like they were from the Lottery corner. When I changed them, my game wouldn't load anymore.

You seem to have some problems with this. Are you using TLP, and did you make sure you are in GBA mode.

We've made quite a few discoveries actually. Heck, there's even a way to text edit. But, I thought that I would leave big things like that for other members to post so they would have some glory as well.

*Message Deleted because it violated Book 3, Page 567, Paragraph 3 and line 12*

Just kidding. I think that, unless you can use PokeTEX, this isn't necessary.

But yeah. You will need to use this if you can use PokeTEX.

Because we're just showing what we CAN do. It doesn't mean that it's going to be used too often. Also, good hackers do edit this part. The would edit this part to match their introduction sprite, thus giving the illusion that the character is actually turning into a game sprite.

Well I guess you are right. And it, along with my tutorial, show that editing graphics is getting easier.
