Title: PokeTex
Description: A Diamond & Pearl Sprite changer
Hiidoran - September 22, 2007 04:57 AM (GMT)
Yes, if you wish to change sprites then this is the program to do it in! It's so simple!
Here is the link to the site, if you so wish to use it.
http://www18.atwiki.jp/pokeanalyze/pages/8.htmlNote: The site is in Japanese, but all you have to do is simply scroll down the page until you find a section entitled, "PokeTex". There should be some moving D/P sprites in the table.
The program is a little hard to navigate, but you'll figure it out eventually.
Good luck, and happy hacking! :ph43r:

Well, I tried this program out, but all it did was freeze up my computer. I have no idea why either.
Hiidoran - September 30, 2007 01:46 AM (GMT)
Hmm...
That's never happened to me before...Maybe your computer does not like the foreign characters. Do you have an old computer.
Ooka - September 30, 2007 02:12 AM (GMT)
No, it's a 2005. And I have windows XP.
Hiidoran - September 30, 2007 02:15 AM (GMT)
Well, what do you do? Do you simple load it, or do you try and change something? Maybe I can tell you what's wrong.
DP Master - September 30, 2007 04:02 AM (GMT)
Hm, i have used that before, it did not freeze my PC, and i have a 2005 edition of XP too. Also, i love that software, it is not hard to navigate, don't you know how to read japanese? It not hard actually ^^
Hiidoran - September 30, 2007 04:08 AM (GMT)
You know what's really funny? My computer is pretty new, and Japanese was built into it, but the programs is still a bunch of "???"s. You know, it never bothered me, I just learned what they all meant.
Ooka - September 30, 2007 06:27 AM (GMT)
Well, I honestly don't know what I was doing, because I didn't know what I was clicking on.
Spenceroone3 - October 1, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
 Wouldn't you just use TLP for graphic changing?
Hiidoran - October 1, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
Well yes, TLP does have some things you can change. But PokeTex allows you to change the sprites. It works almost exactly like Spread in Elitemap.
DP Master - October 2, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Hiidoran is right. Editing using TLP would be more difficult and also a pain... @_@ Plus using PokeTEX is alot easier.
Spenceroone3 - October 10, 2007 07:02 AM (GMT)
I don't understand what all the buttons mean

| I don't understand what all the buttons mean  |
That's maybe because you do not have the language Japanese installed,...but after you use it for a while you will get used to it and most likely know what each button uses.
Spenceroone3 - October 10, 2007 09:33 PM (GMT)
No, I meant that all the buttons look like this:???
Hiidoran - October 11, 2007 03:35 AM (GMT)
Same thing with me, and the funny thing is my Japanese pack is installed... It was like that on my other computer too, so I just learned to memorize the buttons.
gabe_k - October 11, 2007 01:00 PM (GMT)
i just pushed random buttons until i changed the sprite. i also have the japanese pakc installed on my computer, and it works with some programs.

gabe_k - November 9, 2007 12:31 AM (GMT)
