Title: Will the PS3 ever succeed?
Forgotten Memory - January 13, 2008 11:06 PM (GMT)
Well, the sales don't lie. The PS3 has only sold 5 million units, the Wii has sold 19 million, and the 360 has sold 17 million. Will the PS3 ever succeed? Or will it be a complete and utter failure? I would love to hear other opinions!

well now that that price has dropped i think it has a choice. some of my friends and i are considering buying one. if they lowered the price in europe it could do amazingly better. being a huge xbox live fan i think they should also add voice chat in online multiplayer

I hope not
I have never been a fan of Sony, and from what I do know about the PS3, unless the price drops considerably more, its never going to be very popular.

i hate most things about sony also, and i wish they'd stuck to their original controller design. however, the ps3 has just been interesting me ever since ps3 the experince. though the price was bad, the games aren't. however after seeing the price most people just lose interest completely.

I used to be a "Sony Fanboy" now, i just plain HATE them. They will fail in the end, and every minute it gets closer, the Wii will outsell (it already is btw.) even more and more then, Sony will dissapear.

i can see how sony "dissapearing" could be good for gaming, but not for video editing, i use sony vegas alot. it's a good program. but being sony they had to screw it up somehow, so it's not compatible with divx, xvid, and (i think) h264
