Well, in my hack, Pokemon Taijito, I am adding D/P pokemon and some fakemon. I want to add Combee, Vespiquen, and a new evo for it, Waspwarm, but I don't know how to make a gender evolution. Is there any way to do this?

Oh, and here is how I want it to evolve:

Combee (Female) ---> Vespiquen
Combee (Male) ---> Waspwarm

Is there any way to do this in Fire Red?

I bellieve it's possible using PokeAmplifier. It's usually good with evolution hacking.

I know that, but I need to know how to do it with Pokemon Amp... i can't find gender evolution on the list of how to evolve them... :(

I guess it's not. Was there even a gender-based evolution before Diamond and Pearl?

I don't know. If I can't find a way with Amp, maybe I'll be able to do SOMETHING to make it work.

Hex-editing! Mwhahahaha! That term strikes fear into most hackers hearts. That is, if they aren't used to it. I'm not sure if it's possible doing this, but it's worth a try. Though, if it is possible, it will be incredibly difficult. Good Luck! :ph43r:

Good thing I've tried hex editing before... the only problem was that I was hex editing for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind... maybe I could just make 2 seperate Combees, one only male, one only female, sort of like Nidoran Male and Nidoran Female...

Yeah that is the easiest way. Unless you are really good at hex editing. I don't really understand it though...

Yeah, I don't really understand hex editing either, so I can't do it that way. (Off topic) I really wanna add Combee since Vespiquen is my strongest Pokemon in Diamond.
