POKEMON TAIJITO

Hello everyone, I am EvanMiesterX, and this is my first hack! It is a hack of Ruby (Changed from Fire Red)

.::STORYLINE::.
You are the average 10 year old kid, living in Peasoful Town in the JIINO region. Today is your tenth birthday, so you are called over to Professor Sequoia's lab to recieve your first pokemon, a choice of Snapent, the poison type, Powsand, the ground type, or Leafistick, the grass type. You go and choose your first pokemon, then set off on your adventure to collect all of the badges and defeat the Elite Four. Early on in your adventure, you meet two members of Team Chaos, and you overhear their plans. They were saying things like: "Yes, once we capture Yangion we will plunge the world into darkness, since there will only be Yinnagon left, there will be no light, warmth; the world will be in chaos!" They see you, and run off. You eventually get tangled up in the matters of Team Chaos, so they see you as an enemy. They also succeed in their plans! Your only chance of defeating them, and saving the world, is to capture Yinnagon and... (rest of story is a secret!)

Thanks guys! Right now I'm working on the route you can catch Bulbasaur on. The route is a small landbridge, I'll post it as soon as I finish it.

Okay, I'll tell you when I need OW editing, since I probably will soon... :P In fact, could you make me a shiny geodude OW? I'm gonna add a shiny Geodude event, but I need an OW for it.

*ANNOUNCEMENT*
I'm changing this from a Fire Red hack to a Ruby hack, because of Ruby's amount of compatability with tools, luckily I wasn't that far. Also, Peasoful Town is being changed into Peasoful City, no more tiny starting town!

Nice hack, for your first. :P I like how you are using fakemon. Do you have a sprite for this "Yinnagon" yet? I want to make a add-on for this.

No, not yet, I am still thinking of the best design for them; I am thinking I will make them anmost identical, so they could fit togother to make the Taijito sign, but also not look to much like that.

Hmmm... I wonder why the script for the Prof. Birch thing at the beginning isn't working? Maybe it's because I edited the first route...

It's the exact script that Ruby uses when the Poochyena chases Prof. Birch... When I tested out the first route to see if the fakemon worked, the script didn't start...

Did you change anything about the script event? Or take anything from the route away that might have had something to do with it?

No, I left the part of the route the script was on alone, so I don't get why it isn't working... also, here's Peasoful City and the first route (so far)...

Pretty good, but the problem is that you can still see littleroot under Peaceful Town. Apart from that, looks pretty fine. I thought it was a Firered hack! Did you swap?

Sorry, I haven't removed the FR screens yet, this is a hack of Ruby now... also, I didn't want to mess up the original Littleroot town, so I don't mess up anything... yet. I'm planning on editing that too, but only once I can get it so that it doesn't mess up, of, and I'm going to make the girl's house somewhere else, maybe down in between the four trees above the lake.

Lol the four trees? You could name the town Foretree then. Lol

On topic:
The new maps look great! Are the starters going to be the same, or are you going to change them? I see it now nvm. Fakemon starters. OK

There is a area in a book I read called fourtrees. It is where the four clans of the forest come to talk in peace every full moon. They are cats. :lol:

Lol, yes, my starters aren't going to be Fire/Water/Grass, they will be Poison/Ground/Grass (it works, too).

Have you done anything else for the hack? No ones posted for a while... I'm afraid the hack may be dead. That would suck. I hope not. I like this hack a lot. ( I hope I'm not reviving this... Nope.)

sorry guys, i haven't been able to do much due to being on holidays with computer acess. The hack is coming along well but it won't be finished for a long long time. I think i've bitten off more than i can chew....

Looks good, but like Mana... your maps look very empty. Try putting more detail like fences and don't be like GameFreak (making everything look equal).
