Title: Omg? Weird thing with rom speed

Coin3 - October 19, 2007 01:49 PM (GMT)
I didn't know any other place to put this thread. Now, on to the chase.

I started my rom. twice by accident. I close the other one a while after and all of a sudden the percentage of the emulator was 350%!
What the heck happened? Is it a glitch I found? Or...I dont really know. It is just weird. Post your thoughts about this.

Edit: It went back to the stupid slow speed when I was in my house... I thought that if it is laggish normally it would go normal speed this time because of the speed up. But the speed went away. :(

Yeah, the emulator will go that speed when in areas that there are no problems running the game. Places like your house, or a town, however; are still hard for the emulator to pick up and therefore decreases the speed.

Thank you for explaining that. I still wonder why it did not do this before. Now it is doing it every time... ;) It is good if I want to race through that part though.

Oh, BTW. Before this happened, I downloaded a Pearl rom. Guess what came with it.....

A debugger! I have no idea how to work it though...Or what I can do with it.

I do believe he's using the debugger from iDeaS. I'm not sure though, so I suppose we will see what happens.

What I got was no debugger. ;) :o
It seemed like one. But it is not.
