Ahhhhhh.....video games @o@
Yesssshhh, first video game post by meeee....well that would be obvious for anyone who knows me since I am a super duper uber game freak -_-;; So, let's start the show with the first question...drumroll please: *drumroll* What's your all time favorite game(s)? Mine would have to be Metal Gear Solid (If you haven't played it yet, then....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!!!) Others would have to be Silent Hill, Hexen II, Dino Crisis, Castlevania, Demolition Man, Sonic Rush (Sonic is cool...), Breath of Fire, Alone in the Dark, the Driver series (>o<) and of course the best RPG of all times Wild Arms 2nd Ignition AND NO ONE CAN SAY OTHERWISE *huff huff*....o_o....I'll calm down now. State your preferences please without fear of me biting you. Promise =D |

I can clearly say the only games I've played that you listed were Breath of Fire and Castlevania ^^;;; Castlevania being one of my most favorite game series of all time right there in 1st place with the Suikoden series. But I'm also an FF fangirl, what can I say? FF is pretty popular, but unlike most, my favorite FF game is the first Tactics for the psx, I spent an ungodly amount of time in that game, though not as much as Suikoden or CV. the only FF games I hated were X and X-2, I wasn't all that fond of VIII either, but VI was really good as was VII of course.
My other favorite games include Valkyrie Profile (for psx, I've only played a bit of VP2) Arc the Lad collection, Star Ocean 1-2, and Xenogears. |

I haven't played Suikoden but I absolutely LOVE its game music. I just can't get enough of it @_@
As for Final Fantasy...well I haven't been much of a fan for the whole series...probably because I started with FF: VIII. I am sorry to say that I just couldn't stand it for I saw it absolutely boring. The only thing I like about the Final Fantasy games are the concept art and character designs. God bless Yoshitaka Amano XD I always wanted to play Valkyrie Profile and Xenogears but they are out of stock around here. A guy said he'd be able to get it for me but for an ungodly price...so I kind of passed on the offer since I would be already spending a hell lot of money for the upcoming PS3 games...which reminds me that I better save up =P |

Zomgosh I agree: Sonic is so cool! I used to play Sonic Adventure on Sega Dreamcast ^^ I LOVED it!
I used to like Tombraider. Only the old ones though (like...I, II, and III). I don't like the new ones. Not at all. I played this OUTRAGEOUSLY FUN Indiana Jones (<33333) game on my computer. It was SO much fun! You got to use the whip and everything! And it had the music too! COOLNESS!!!! I LOVED IT!!! Ha! It was called Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. I like Super Smash Brothers Melee ^^ It's such a great game to play with a bunch of friends. I have a think for *blushes* Harvest Moon *blushes* =^^= My brother is really into Metal Gear Solid, he showed me the trailer for the up and coming one for PS2, the one where Snake has like...gray hair XD Snake stills kicks butt apparently though. I myself haven't really played those games, but I have seen them played plenty of times and I always thought the quiet stealth sort of thing was so neat ^^ I haven't really played that much Castlevania, but I did love what I did play of it. SO COOL! Vampires! Rargh! Or...HISS! Haha...ha. I actually don't play much video games anymore. I used to play a lot more. I love this old came for SNES called E.V.O. It was like...the game of my life. But nobody has ever heard of it except for me, apparently. XD |

Aiiii, a Sonic lover!!! I loved Sonic ever since I first played it on the Sega Megadrive II <---- a very old game system XD
Actually the upcoming Metal Gear Solid game is on the PS3. And yeah...Solid Snake has grey hair because of cellular degeneration due to the cloning procedure he underwent in the Les Enfantes Terribles project or probably it might be FOXDIE. No one is sure really. But as you said, he's still able to kick evil bum even while smoking a cigarette XDD You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this, since Hideo Kojima said that all the cryptic MGS questions will be answered in this installment...o_o...okay I've been ranting about this and it seems you haven't played it yet. But if you are into stealth and conspiracy theories and mechas with nuclear warhead capabilities then I assure you this is the right game for you XD I was never able to play Tomb Raider, mostly because it gave me motion sickness every time I try to play it....same problem with Indiana Jones T-T Super Smash Bros. Melee is TEH GREATNESS!!!!!! It's probably the most amazing and entertaining game to ever be created on the planet!!! OMG....I LOVE HARVEST MOON TOO!!!!! Though I haven't played it in a while XD It kind of reminds me of Animal Crossing (which I have yet to buy). You know what...I'll go play it again now and reminisce over my past achievements XD I'm not sure if I heard of E.V.O....though it does ring a bell in my tiny head...did it have dragons or some mythical creatures in it or something? You see, I never bought an SNES but I would go to my cousin's place to play the games he had XP...mostly RPG's though...so I most probably played it once upon a time =D |

Valkyrie Profile for psx is HARD to find like VERY hard to find, and on eBay it goes from like $200-300
Harvest Moon is awesome! I have(had) all of them but unfortunately most of what I had was sold >.< when my mom had a yard sale to get rid of our "old" things. So now all I have left of my HM collection is 64, Back to Nature, Friends of Mineral Town, More Friends of Mineral Town, Harvest Moon for GB the one where you can choose boy or girl, and the ones for ps2 and the Rune Factory (very interesting concept) and the DS one... but yeah... >.>;;; But WOW I haven't heard E.V.O. forEVER. That was a fun game. |

I haven't got the other Harvest Moon games except for Back to Nature on the PSone. I am still debating whether I should get Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon for the DS =/
I just hope in the end I won't be getting a Pokemon game...sometimes I just feel sorry for my younger brother especially when he gives me his 'puppy-dog eyes' look...that's when I relent and end up buying whatever game he wishes for...which always happens to be a Pokemon game -_-;; |

Well the Diamond and Pearl games aren't too bad and you can transfer pokemon from the GBA versions to the DS ones ^^ which is neat so is the Wi-Fi Global Trading Network where you can trade with people all over the world. I got a few Japanese pokemon >.>;;;; yeah... I'm a geek... ~~;;;
But Harvest Moon DS is fun so far, its very glitchy though, like for instance... you're supposed to be able to marry the Harvest Goddess and the Witch Princess, but in the US version of the game, you're mailbox is completely useless, which you need it in order to get items or mail for and from the Harvest Goddess. The game does not count animal deaths correctly which you need to have 50 animals die in order to marry the Witch Princess. It freezes every now and then, but that's only early in the game, I haven't had it do that for a while. If you put a GBA version of Harvest Moon in the bottom slot of the DS only once then you can get the Mineral Town people to come over. Oh, another glitch is that you can't go to Mineral Town because one of the Harvest Sprites tells you that your work isn't finished which apparently it is never finished. They're coming out with a Harvest Moon DS 2 but that comes out next year sometime, here's some info I got from a site: Background: Work with your friends to create a farm on a deserted island in this entry of the popular farming game. Choose from a male or female character and begin the game as you arrive on a island following a disaster at sea. Joining you is the old timer Tarou, his daughter Felena, and her two kids, Natalie and Eric. The island offers some hints that it may have been inhabited in the past, but it now seems to be deserted. Working with your fellow refugees, your first order of business is to create a farm. As you build up your farm, people who have an interest in the farming business move on over to the island. These people then open up shops and facilities, contributing to the island's development and giving you new areas to explore and new people to speak with. You can also become friends with members of the opposite sex, conversing regularly and giving presents with the ultimate goal of getting married. Gameplay: -Unlike many other Harvest Moon DS games, the directional pad, the top screen, is not used to control movement but to use your tools. Pressing up will equip the hammer, pressing right will use your fishing pole, and so on depending on the order of what tools you've set up for each button in your ructsack. -Now because the top screen on the Nintendo DS is already being used for the ructsack, items, objects, etc the bottom screen is souly used for movement of your character by using your stylus to move like in Animal Crossing: Wild World. - The Accessory system from Harvest Moon DS appears to be in this version as well, since you can purchase a Beauty Box from Chen the traveling merchant. That might mean there are also no Power Berries in Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness. |

Wow, that's really helpful. Thanks for the info. But if the current Harvest Moon has this many glitches then I guess I can wait for the next installment. Next year is around the corner anyways =P

Yes it is, but the HMDS is still pretty good and funny, it's more like a gag HM than an actual HM, I mean you can farm and get married and all of that, but the Witch Princess is like a comic relief character ^^;

E.V.O did have a dragon in it ^^ It’s basically a game where you start out as a fish (if I remember correctly) and the you keep evolving upwards by getting new body pats, such as better jaws, and then you move on into evolving into other forms of life, such as reptiles and mammals. Anyway there was this special secret dragon form you can obtain, it’s cool. Well, I don’t how exactly secret it is, but yeah. It’s cool :D
Oh yeahhhh, it is PS3, oops >.< Sorry about that! Ha, but I agree, anyone who digs conspiracies will wet themselves over Metal Gear Solid ^^ I adore Sonic, Mia. Who’s your favorite Sonic character, out of curiosity? I like Knuckles, and…wow, I just like pretty much all of them XDDDD =^^= Zomg Akira you have played E.V.O? I don’t know why, but that game makes me go SQUEUEUEUEUEUEUEEEE! I hope they make a sequel or a remake of it some day for any system, I don’t care which one ^^ Oh yeah, Animal Crossing. I got the DS kind and played it through a bunch, and got nearly everything I wanted. It’s REALLY fun at first…but eventually there’s just nothing to do and it gets boring and there’s limited options and ugh. That’s just the DS one though. Of Harvest Moon I have played two of the GBC ones, and the Mineral Town one for GBA. I liked it ^^ A friend of mine has Harvest Moon DS and ZOMGOSH it’s SO glitchy and URGHRGRHRUGHHHGGHG. At first she thought the game was cute but now she doesn’t like it anymore. Ha! Still, I like it more than Animal Crossing DS. That witch princess is funny though ^^ |

I always liked Knuckles as well, in Sonic, though the only Sonic game I played was Sonic and Knuckles for Sega...
But yes! They need to make E.V.O. again for any system, though portable would be awesome! ^^ |

XD Oh, well I guess that's why you like Knuckles. XD
I really like Knuckles because he's red. I have a thing for the color red, I think. When I was a toddler I would draw using ONLY red markers. Nothing else. Only red markers. Red red red red red. Ha XD Maybe that's why I like Knuckles XD =^^= Portable EVOOOO that would be fantastic! That game was just so good for me, I can't quite put my finger on why I liked it so much. I even liked the background music. I was so wierd about it. I still am pretty wierd XD |

E.V.O.!!! I have played it before!! See I told you the name was familiar but it was such a long time ago that i feel really old <.<
I used to love it because you get to be a dinosaur ( I have a thing for dinosaurs by the way =P) I used to love being the fish and swim all around in the ocean. I'm not quite sure but there was something about crystals that make other creatures turn evil and in the end you fight this boss that looks like an ectoplasm of some sort...and...and I want to play it again...ahhh... the nostalgia... T_T I ALSO liked Knuckles because of his color!!! =D Though I thought he was fuchsia rather than red =P I also liked to play as Tails only because you get to fly around those high to reach places, plus his two tails were cute XD If Harvest Moon on the DS is that glitchy I guess I'll pass. I get really irritated when a game doesn't work well plus that would endanger my DS from any infuriation that might arise from moi *insert evil laugh* |

XD I laughed out loud (...lol..haha....ahem, anyway) when you said that because earlier when I was typing my 'red rant' I was thinking that Knuckles isn't really pure red, but I didn't mention it because I didn't think anybody would point that out XDDD Tails is ADORABLE! His tails are like a helicopter motor....I wonder what his bone structure is like though....O_O;;; Maybe I'm just over-thinking it, haha XD
So do I! I love dinosaurs too! I love big books about dinosaurs with big pictures of them and stuff! Yeah, remember the crystals. It went like this (I think). Some aliens put the crystals on Earth to make the evolution go quicker because they were all fascinated and what not. They had good intentions, that what I remember. But then when animals ate the crystals that got all evil about it because it was like…cheating evolution, I guess. I really liked that for some reason. Oh the fish part was awesome ^^ Although, I remember this part in the Ice Age sort of area where you had to defeat the Yeti mother as a boss sort of thing, and then her kid comes out and cries and they play this sad music and stuff. T.T Ha! Yeah! The final boss was like this blobby sort of thing, it was so wierd! Haha! |

There's this new game out for the PS2 called "Shin Megami Tensei: PERSONA3". It's pretty awesome if you like Anime-esque-RPG-fighting demons-games. XD

I would play it, but I've never played a Shin Megami Tensei game, and from what I heard, even though they are not all necessarily linked per-say, the Snow Queen's appearance varies from each game through the series according to the people that have "killed" her.
Also, I heard that Persona 3 has another game to it for ps2 as well, I can't remember the exact last part of it after Persona 3 but my friend was telling me about it and how America is probably never going to see it. |

I always wondered about that too!! That and how it must be annoying for him to be able to sleep with his two tails wagging around XD
T-T...I remember that so well, and I had always thought that it was too much to use that stone axe thing to beat her up...even if it meant that she'd kill me. Back then it reminded me of when Bambi lost his mother to the hunter. It always made me cry T-T
Yeah I have heard of it and saw the reviews and all but I can't get it because I have a PS3 instead of a PS2, and I am not sure if my PS3 has backward compatibility...but hey it would be worthwhile when Devil May Cry 4 is released for the PS3 XP |

If your PS3 is one of the newer models, then yes, it should have the ability to play psone and ps2 games.
