la push high school.
Located on the western side of La Push, Washington, this small school is only home to around 300 kids, most of which live or have family members that live on the reservation. Classes are small and hallways are cramped, but the overall size of the building is acceptable for the amount of students there.

first beach.
Possibly the largest hang out attraction for community members, First Beach is known for its expansive shoreline and cold waters. During the summer months, people from around the area come here to celebrate and have fun, though most La Push locals consider it a staple for just about every activity.

the cliffs.
Dangerous and enticing, the cliffs are a set of drops off of a higher plateau above First Beach. Many people consider it an adrenaline rush to jump off of them, one of the many extreme activities used around the area, although adolescents are warned from older adults to avoid such reckless behavior.

This is the main residential area for almost everyone on the reservation and around; spanning the majority of the town, homes ranging from upscale houses to small cabins can be found here. It features a park in the center and a small part toward the Northeastern border.

Like much of the Washington landscape, the area surrounding La Push is mostly dense forest. Many of the families living in La Push find themselves at home amongst the trees, although this is where the La Push shape shifter tribe often patrols during the night.

For those new to Forks, Washington, (or those just looking for somewhere new to visit), the Visitor's Center also doubles at the post office and features picnic tables outside of the building for tourists and townies alike to sit and eat, read, etc.

hiking trail to second beach.
The hiking trail is located in between Forks and La Push, although its entrance is within the Forks city limits. On this trail, there are many side things to see, including the meadow and the specified area for the new shape shifters. At its destination is Second Beach.

the bell view motel.
A dingy, grimy motel located at the very entrance of Forks, this motel is hardly ever used by tourists. If it is ever used, it's mostly by poor passersby who use it for the night and almost never extended stays.

About an hour north of La Push and Forks, Port Angeles is a nice, quaint getaway place if you feel the need to desert the small-town life. Complete with shopping, movies, entertainment, dining, and more, it's the closest little escape around.
