"They are aren't they?" Said Sirius with a bemused smile. "But that's what makes them so fascinating."
Sirius pushed back his locks of gorgeous hair and turned to Lily. Her eyes were piercing and Sirius knew that what he was doing was taking a big chance. But never had he felt like this about a girl before. It wasn't just about getting laid, but having someone to hold, to love. Pulling a rose out of his jacket, he handed it to Lily.
"Sorry that I didn't have the chocolates."
With this Sirius stood up, shooting the fangirls a naughty smile and turned to the two of them.
"I have a date with an older girl. Meet you two in the common room later" Then, to his fangirls he said, "And you too."
He winked at Lily and strutted aimlessly off, his cloaks billowing as if there was a fierce storm attempting to blow them off of his muscular back. As his footsteps faded away, all that was left of his consequence was the lovestruck fangirls and the gently echoing clicks of his footsteps on the stone flooring.

This was going too far. She had come here for a pleasant dinner and maybe a nice conversation, but she was struck with the burden of an argument between her and Sirius. The two were stubborn and would continue to stand their grounds. Lily would never admit defeat to the bloke. Maybe she should’ve just stayed holed up in the library with her nose buried in a book. No one was there to bother her and her life was peaceful. She was cut off from the reality of the world and the horrible boy by the name of Sirius Black. Or maybe she should’ve have just taken a seat elsewhere. Surely she would’ve been welcomed elsewhere, but now it was too late. She had made the decision to sit with Black. But another thought popped into her mind. He was the one who had started this with that silly note. It was probably made up anyways. If he hadn’t been trying to impress her, none of this would have ever happened.
Lily was about to respond to Macy’s comment when Sirius plopped in between the two of them. He reminded her of an immature little boy that just needed attention to survive. He was like those boys that needed to be cared for by their mothers every second of the day. Lily gave a high pitched shriek and scooted as far away from the black-haired boy as she could without falling off the bench. “Would you tell your little fan girls to go away?” Lily spat. “They have nothing to do with this conversation and as of now they are just dead weight taking up perfectly good space.”
Before she knew it, Sirius had presented her with a rose. This was unexpected. When had Sirius ever acknowledged what a girl wanted? He was one of those guys who would only do things if it benefited them. Was she just a thing that he would benefit from? Before she knew it, Lily had muttered an apology to Macy and rose from the table.
Was she actually running after Sirius? This is what he had wanted all along and now she was giving him the satisfactions of winning. She caught up with his long strides and tugged on her arm. “Sirius,” she started a little coldly. “What in the world does this mean?” She held up the rose that was hanging limply in her hand.
What was Sirius getting at? She was definitely not as easily seduced as his fan girls, but she had always been a softy for surprises. And this was definitely a surprise. Hadn’t they been in an argument just a few moments ago? All Lily could think was that Sirius has a lot of mood changes.

"Well, I just thought..."
This was quite new for Sirius. This sensation. This yearning. Before girls were pretty faces that meant nothing but now when he saw Lily, he looked past her beauty and down into her soul. He shuffled his feet nervously.
"I knew that you liked roses and well...I've never actually done this before. I would've gotten you chocolates but I didn't know if you liked...them."
His last few words were mumbled in an indecipherable tone. He laughed nervously and then looked at his watch.
"Er...well, I kinda gotta go. But I'll meet you in the Gryffindor common room soon?"
Sirius was dumbfounded, he had never acted like this in front of a female. Much less in fron tof Lily. Hastily he turned around and continued struttting down the corridor to avoid further embarassment.

Macy watched with a sour look on her face as Sirius handed Lily the rose. No it had nothing to do with Lily, she was not sour at Lily in the slightest, rather she was happy there was finally someone who shared her "current" opinion of Sirius. But she was now extremely mad at Sirius, who had never given her anything in the whole amount of time they had gone out. She bit her lip as she looked at him, her eyes slightly angry, slightly confused.
Macy tapped her fingers on the table, filling the silence that rang through her head. By now, she had tuned them all out. She didn't want to hear any of it. She didn't want to talk to wither of them, or anyone’s else for that matter. Why was she pissed? I don’t think even she knows, But she was, and talking was most likely that way to make things escalate, she would rather keep silent.
As she saw Lily stand up, she nodded at the apology with a forced smile, then watched as she walked off after him. She rested her face in her hands, as she put all her efforts in trying not to cry. Luckily, her efforts worked. So she sat there alone, starring at the black wall. Fun eh?
