Physically fit and built, Chase is an athlete for sure. He stands at a good five feet, nine inches tall, though still feels short despite being taller than most. He takes care of his physique, working out and running nearly every day to keep in shape. It's one of the few things he really cares about, looks wise afterall. His skin's a nice tanned color, natural despite what some may think. It's riddled with random scars from past reckless mistakes, though having been treated right away, most are barely visible unless you know what you're looking for. Dark brown, black hair; normally spiked in some manner though never carefully. Styling it usually consists of dipping his hand in gel then running it through the soft hair a few times until he's happy with it. Some days it looks great, some days it's just a mess - doesn't really matter much to him. His eyes are a dark chocolate brown, almost black. He's got a gorgeous smile, though typically sports an amused smirk on his face.

Typically his clothing style choices consist of whatever's comfortable. He likes wearing hoodies, and has a favorite dark red one that's a bit ragged around the edges from so much wear. It's broken in and comfortable though, and it's not like he really cares what people think. Pants wise he likes cargo pants, whether they be khakis or jeans or whatever doesn't matter much - they just have to have lots of pockets for him to store things in. T-Shirts of various colors are standard. High-top converse or worn sneakers, sometimes with doodles or writing on them, are his typicaly choice of footwear. At times though he surprises people by showing up in nice button-down long sleeved shirts with undone ties; something else that he likes that's comfortable. To accessorize he normally has either a black choker-collar around his neck or a pair of large headphones - connected to his music player of course. Wristbands or even black fingerless gloves are pretty normaly for him too. He likes some hats, though doesn't like what they do to his hair. Belts are some times worn, though rarely used to actually hold up his pants. He has a pair of goggles that he likes wearing, either over his eyes or around his head or neck. He also has a pair of black one-way sunglasses that he stole from his friend Zack before leaving his old school.

A bit of a mess, you might say, Chase is an odd one. Reckless and playful, he has a nasty habit of managing to get himself into all sorts of trouble. Not so much as a way of getting attention, rather he just doesn't agree with today's society. People annoy him easily, especially the stuck-up preppy types - though he will give anyone a chance. Only one; after that you're blacklisted. He does enjoy making friends, those that he can trust and mess around with. It's difficult to do though, because most just find him to be overly annoying. Doesn't bother him; he'd rather have a few close friends than a lot that he didn't actually know. Very loyal - he's protective of those close to him. He'll stand up for them if they need it, jump in and take the blame for things should they be in such a situation. Doesn't bother him, he gets in enough trouble that he's used to it by now.

A procrastinator, he rarely ever does his homework or anything else on time. Though it has been shown that he works better when he's almost run out of time - that or just says 'whatever' and doesn't bother. School is definitely not one of his favorite things in the world. He'd much rather stay home and play video games, or be out running with his dogs, Tucker and Storm, than go sit in a classroom full of gossiping students and monotone teachers. But alas, such the hardships of being a teenager.

A runner, he enjoys running marathons and races of all sorts. He likes keeping in shape, plus it's something fun that he can do either alone or with other people. He's a bit competitive though, so he pushes himself too hard a lot of the time when it comes to training or races. Known to run til knocked out, he's quite dedicated.

Overreactive, it doesn't take much to get a rise out of this one. He will easily become snappy and annoyed with people; though rarely has any bite to back up his bark. Only whenever they truly anger him will he start to pull out the punches, but after his issues with fights at his last school he's attempted to restrain his emotions. On a better note, he's also easily amused. A bit possessive, he gets jealous easy when other people are talking to his friends. Often he'll try to butt into the conversation, even just to sit there quietly - he just has to be there. Though, he knows when he isn't wanted, and typically will back off. He's not stupid, but has his slow moments more often than not it seems. More because he gets distracted easily than actually not understanding what's being said. It takes him a while to understand and retain any knowledge needed for his schoolwork, but with some help he gets...some of it.

Despite all of his downfalls, Chase is normally a very energetic and happy guy. He smiles and laughs constantly, trying to get other people to do the same. A jokester, he's known for trying to lighten the mood when things go sour. He hates to be in a bad mood, though knows it happens - so he tries to make up for it by being so cheerful the rest of the time.

Born second to loving parents, Chase had a good life growing up. His father was a well-known comedian, while his mother was equally as well-known as a Veterinarian. He adn his older sister, Dakota, were always treated well as they grew up - never exactly spoiled but they tended to get the things that they wanted if they tried hard enough. Never neglected or anything of the sort, things were definitely in their favor.

They hadn't always lived in New York, actually, they moved there soon after their father passed away suddenly. A car accident, nothing that was his fault at all. It was whenever the media sprung up on teh subject that Hailey decided it would be best to move her children and herself to somewhere new. New York ended up being just the place, Winchester seeming like a fantastic little town. She took up her work once again, leading a Veterinarian practice there and caring for the people's animals. It was because of her job there that their home became a sanctuary to many dogs and puppies. Chase himself owned two, Tucker - a rhodesian ridgeback and golden retriever mix - and Storm - an alaskan malamute and wolf mix - that his mother had brought home to him on his 7th birthday.

He grew, finding himself bit by bit as he did so. It became obvious that he wouldn't follow in his mother's footsteps like his sister had, though what exactly he would end up doing was still up in the air. Winchester Heights Academy was the school his sister had attended, and given their wealth, became the school he would go to as well despite his lower than average scores. As a freshman he got into track, finding it to be something he could do that he enjoyed, unlike everyone else around who preferred shopping and gossiping. Sophomore year came and went with little excitement, but it was the summer before Junior year that all the craziness happened. A student had died; no one he knew personally, but it was still a big thing to happen in their normally happy little community. Personally he figured it was foul-play, though had little other thoughts on the subject aside from that. He just wanted to get through this year and the next, so that he could get out of this school for good.

School. Eck.

Chase stretched over-dramatically, arms way above his head as he bent his back until he heard the satisfying crack. Relaxing once more, he tried to focus on whatever it was that the teacher was saying even though he knew it was likely a futile attempt. It was early, too early, to be sitting in a math class and to be expected to learn things that didn't make sense even when you were completely awake. Overly complicated; he was sure that the teachers sat around and tried to come up with the most difficult ways to teach these things just so everyone would end up failing. But then again, you'd think that they'd want to get rid of them - not fail them so they'd be stuck there another year. Either way, he was pretty sure they got some sick satisfaction from failing students and probably laughed at them when they weren't around to hear it. It would figure. Stupid teachers.

Running a hand through his dark hair, Chase watched as Mr. Jefferies continued to teach whatever math thing it was that they had been working on for the past few days. As a guy he really wasn't that bad, Chase had to admit, but he didn't like him all that much because he taught math. Math and Chase did not agree; they didn't add up evenly. If entered into an equation you'd end up with a big ole error staring back at you; they just were not compatible whatsoever and never would be. No matter how much out-of-class tutoring he got, he'd just never understand all the numbers and systems and theories and whatever else it was math geeks knew. Why couldn't they just keep the standard add, subtract, multiply and divide? What was so wrong with that? It was a lot easier, and didn't require all this other pointless knowledge to do it.

Sighing, the dark haired young man grabbed his pencil and started doodling on the top of his desk. No one expected him to pay attention anymore, so why bother? Drawing little comic-y things for whoever sat in his seat during the next class was much more amusing. Plus it made the time go by quicker, and he was all for that. And it was better than sleeping through class, right?

I have to say, I was not expecting to see Taylor Lautner here (since he is after all a twilighter) :P BUT I think he is going to make an excellent addition to our student population. Great job!
