I like how BB's first comment on a 5th generation of Pokemon goes out of its way to insult the 4th generation.

I've been playing since 1st gen and I thought the 4th gen was the best game, so I have high hopes for the next one.

If you run around in grass, especially in a world with creatures like Pokemon everywhere, you are bound to run into something.

I wouldn't be impressed at all if they changed the way you get put into battles, and I have no idea how they would integrate a new system into the game

I think Dragon Quest had optional battles or something like that, the game characters looked too much like DBZ characters, so I ignored it.

It's worth noting that it's not actually confirmed a 5th gen game, just that new Pokemon are definitely involved (which is the important part here!).

I think it's more likely that it'll just be another spinoff, featuring some new Pokemon like how the Mystery Dungeon games and the like did. I think 2010 is too soon to reveal and release a new generation all at once, after the last three took much longer.

Its begin 4 years since Diamond and pearl came out in japan and pokemon will never get rid of random battles and it does not need fully 3d pokemon either.

And they are making Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 for Ds. In the same month Heart Gold and Soul Sliver come out in America so dose Monster Rancher Ds as well which is Monster Rancher 2 for Ds in japan.

I just hope DQMJ2 has all the monsters they forgot in the first one and let you use a variety of creature types then just having to rely on a Great Dragon or a Dark Servant for the big fights

PROTIP: Akira Toriyama's been behind Dragon Quest's character designs since the beginning, YOU MALDROIT!!!

Also he only really started to intergrate character designs from his other works into DQ beginning with DQ IV. I think.

I love how all of Beelzebuzzer's posts are either him complaining about something that's perfectly good or portray him as some type of sexual deviant.

While I agree that the system in DQM:J, in which you see monsters wandering around and can choose whether or not to approach them, is preferable to Pokemon's (at least to me), I don't think Nintendo could implement something like that well.
