can't really say I missed generic slimes in mortasheen and the shadenfreude gained from you not even managing to post a monster each day for a week was slightly bigger then the joy of the two new slime symbiotes that where delayed.

can't really say titarium looks either "sad" or "cute" and miasmadusas relationship with smogulus felt a bit out of place, but other then that a really good job and gastodon is my favorite so far.

Out of the new ones so far, I think I like Snagnant the best. I can't remember for sure, but I think Hollowile was the only Botanical I liked before this. I'll have to dig around in the Mortasheen threads that haven't been deleted.

I like how the slimes are just named slimes. No sarcasm.
Also my favorites of the new ones are the two with the pseudo-scuba helmets

The difference between Smogulus and Miasmadusa is like the difference between a nautilus and a giant octopus.

Well, I did, because I adore slimes, and I have nothing whatsoever to gain from ever taking anyone else's interests in mind. I made a concerted effort to make them a little grosser with a little more personality than the ones in D&D, though.

The slimes and slime carriers are actually the biggest hits of the past forty or fifty additions, I can't remember the last ones to get so much feedback.

Titarium looks like an asshole if you read the eyes as being above the mouth in an upside-down face, as some people do, but the mouth is the "top" of its head and its eyes are drooping at the bottom.

A big slimy cloud related to Smogulus has been an idea for years, to me they fit like a Nautilus and Giant Octopus.

I'm not sure why you would get schadenfreude from me missing an update or two when that's a normal thing that happens in life and should have been fully expected because I'm still drawing, editing and developing them even now.

I've actually never found critiquey-feedback to be as pointless and trivial as yours but that's basically what the whole forum seems to regard as your superpower anyway.

Huh? I've missed exactly one update, where's the other one? They aren't on a time schedule, just "one a day" as in "one within every 24 hour block." I'm also writing articles, taking two college classes, trying to cram in activities with friends and working on four other art projects that aren't even public yet.

And come on, are you really resorting to the old "just ignore it if you don't like it" routine? That should apply to you in the first place, then; if you're dissatisfied with what I do in my own dumb drawings for my own fun, then you can just as easily ignore it. You wouldn't direct quibbles towards me if you didn't want me to address them, so I did, because I respond as best I can to absolutely all detailed feedback on specific things.

I'm so sorry for responding to minor negativity with minor negativity...that was totally inappropriate of me. I'll try harder to do things you like more :C

I don't know what it is exactly but Botanicals might be my least favorite group, myself. I like them and all, there's just something that always ends up feeling "off" with them.

Plant monsters are favorites of mine in so many other franchises, but maybe that's the biggest problem - it's hard for me to come up with any that I both love and haven't already seen elsewhere.

pointless is not the same as not liking it allso only about 5% of my complains get posted on the web and if I didn't, who would?

and on my side of the world did you miss two.

anyway, sanguinenettle is probably the best non-fungi, non-OOP botanical yet and I like the idea of a monster that makes you able to get a vampire quicker/easier.

Well, leaving Wortcov's comments aside, I'd like to ask a few thing about the new creatures:

-Would slime be a "starter" creature like Gromory, Plazm, Toiler , Scravenous, Gill Devil, Mormaggot, Devilweed, Paraseethe, ect. (Which I assume are for lower-level players) or would they be higher level due to how hard it is to control you mentioned larger Slimes are.

-Would it be possible to combine two different strains of slime (Like, say, Rust Pus and Bogfire) into one creature at the higher levels?

-Could you make an Oozoid/Oozonaut with one of your pre-existing slimes, or would you have to make a new one to use on it? And how would they work with the different kinds of slimes?

-Since Cephalopods and Medeusans are not closely related, how is Smogulus related to Miasmadeusa? Is it due to some commonly shared bit of DNA that manifests differently when combined with different Phylums or are they not related to those sorts of animals and they just look similar to them?

-Is a Sanguinettle how lower-level players are supposed to acquire vampires until they get powerful enough to control them on their own, or do you have to have one in your team to use any vampires?

-Would a Titarium's scent work on a Succupus? And what would be created with the union of the two?

What would OOP stand for in this context again?

-Slimes wouldn't make good starter monsters just because other monsters are useful as general assistants and protectors outside of battle.

-If any two slimes meet, even genetically differing cultures of the same strain, they just try to eat each other, digestive cells vs. digestive cells like two ant colonies mixed up. Eventually you would just have one double-size mass of the same slime.

-I figure any slime handy.

-Smogulus is just a very cephalopod-like monster under its shell. Miasmadusa is a more amorphous version and so named because it comes out looking so jellyfish-like and because it's a cool word.

-I don't know if we'll eventually have official mechanics for addicting a vampire to a Sanguinettle or not, it's just more story flavor and most vampires would know better.

-It would work, but their young probably wouldn't be viable, and the Titarium might not enjoy the process that much.
