I think that they are all supposed to be British. It looks like it's supposed to be London that the kid is from.

Writing isn't too good.

There's not a whole lot of writing to judge, leader.
All the characters speak in short little blurbs - you should wait to judge that when someone says a big long thing.

I think it's okay so far.

A guy from England saying "Capital! That's the spirit! Come along then, spit-spot!" as their first lines isn't good writing. It's like writing a comic about americans where the first lines are about eagles

Dude, that's like the first thing out of my mouth every morning.

I need like twelve eagles on hand for my daily routine, which begins by scarfing down five hamburgers before driving off to school in my hummer colored like the American flag.

And as I careen down the road I hang out the window firing a gun into the air as I scream "Evolution is a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeee!!"

Exactly, the dialogue is just fucking horrible.

I kinda got the impression that the character was intentionally acting in a way that made him into an silly caricature, since he's much more toned-down after that and also the Hero, who is actually from London, has none of these mannerisms that make RGB a ridiculous representative of the English.

Also, as far as realistic characters, RGB has a TV for a head and floats up into the sky, I think we can suspend a bit of disbelief.

I think Madras is pretty and TOby is a creep.

RGB's exaggerated/shitty stereotype mannerisms never bothered me, somehow.

I think RGB is supposed to be a metaphor for something, like the little white Lie. The media's flair for the dramatic? Brain damage from reality TV? I suppose Time will tell... (snerk)

There's the hints all over the place that Hero is only one in a line of heroes he's picked up for whatever reason.

then there's Madras' conversation with him as she's... extracting the color from him?

Wait, do you actually believe that the only writing involved in comic production is the dialogue? Do you think that when actions take place that the corresponding script is just blank?
