So anyone else got Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure yet? Yeah it changes the Spyro franchise even more, but it really isn't a Spyro game, as it's an original franchise with some Spyro characters thrown in to make more money. It's a fun, Marvel Ultimate Alliance/Gauntlet-esque beat-em up (On-rails platformer for 3DS), with an assload of different characters to collect, with almost each having their own different playstyles so you get your moneys worth for each figure

So far, here are my top 5 Skylanders (Was going to do 10, but eh, too much.)

Drill Sargeant: He's a steampunk Gurren Lagann that launches drill missiles. Awesome

Ignitor: Kinda a Medieval Ghost Rider that shoots his flame so it can chase enemies

Slam Bam: A four-armed yeti with ice powers that has the ability to surf on land thanks to his ice-board

Prism Break: A stone golem that can summon multiple crystals, and shoot his lasers into them, pretty much wiping out everything in front of him

Chop-Chop: An armored skeleton with a badass voice who can absorb tons of hits, and if you upgrade his shield, can use those hits to deal a ton of damage on attackers

There's supposed to be another game coming out this year, with giant-sized figures and use of old figures

Well I'm interested in this game because of the guys behind it's development and it's essentially the spiritual successor to a favorite C64 game of mine (Mail Order Monsters); but I'm low on storage room, don't really have anyone else to play this with, and have a huge Steam backlog so I haven't picked it up.

I'm still holding out hope they release Thri-kreen or Spathi characters; I'll buy those in a millisecond.

Skylanders is the first game to feature Spyro in any way that has entertained me since the PlayStation 1 games. Of course, having grown up on Pokemon, the "gotta catch 'em all" motive got to me, and I now own all 32 Skylanders. I'm really looking forward to the sequel this year, I love the idea of the giant Skylanders!

That's the first thing that I thought too.

You can't change people's minds with love and reasoning and respect either dude. I yell at people just for the satisfaction of them knowing I hate them for being different from me. I just wish I could actually hurt their feelings or ruin their lives somehow instead of mildly irritate them, that'd be sweet as shit.

This one and Drobot are the only ones I'd actually play as. I actually have the Drobot toy, and so far, it's the only one I've considered buying.
