Also, I have a couple questions;
You probably won't give this away, but does Red feature in the story at all, or Clarisse for that matter? Or will you have a new villain?
Will it ever be explained what exactly Red is?
Will the villain be trying to accomplish something through manipulating the game, or is he just doing it for his evil shits and giggles? Or are his motifs incomprhensibly alien or something like that?

The villain has a fairly simple motivation. He might screw with Carl's head a few times.

Also, not every new aspect of these *games* is caused by manipulation from the villain.

A lot of the game will be surreal, much like the first was. I'm trying to make the things that happen in the game more bizarre so that it won't get too repetitive.

N.P.C's will have more of a role to play in this one.

I've always had a special fondness for the weaklings of the Toho-verse. I look forward to seeing these under appreciated monsters in action.

I like how, at this point, it's more weird than creepy, with the only real unnerving stuff being the frozen monsters, the space babies, and Usol.

Yup, that's Krystalak. I made his colors the same as the ice so he would blend in better.

Sooooooo, that was Sloth?

Yes.

The boss' name was Lethar(gic), and every level seemed to have a running theme of wasting time (obscuring vision, caution through spikes, sidetracking crystals, a level of dead ends, fighting enemies, freezing, etc.) To beat him, you had to move quickly and think fast, the antithesis of sloth.

e: As for my actual feelings about this chapter, I liked it. My favorite bits would probably the misinformation guy and Usol. He really felt out of place in that level, and I hope he comes back later. Since he's green, I imagine he'll show up again in the Envy level (?).
