Thanks! Hopefully this story will be even better.

I'm sure it will. It'll make me go ZombieMale_explode.gif. For I'm (used to be) an avid creepypasta reader.

On the other hand, the people who joined the forum simply because of the original work are probably going to start acting up again.

You can stay, but don't go causing any trouble in the sewers, got it?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that the NES Godzilla Creepypasta is among the greatest creepypastas ever. Or at least not in the sense that it was scary or anything (Because I was truthfully surprised that anyone found it scary at all.).

BUT I will say that the pacing and suspense was great. The fact that this "cursed" game is now in someone else's hands just really turns the weirdness/creepy level up. I also, personally, like how Cosbydaf is specifically not trying to make this a full-on scary story, as he mentioned earlier, which really expands on how far this game's overall design can go.

Bottom line: Great stuff. Can't wait for the next update.

As far as "Gave me nightmares" or whatever I've never read ANY creepypasta that I'd consider "scary." I think as the series went on I got acclimated towards Red, but the first time I saw him I remember feeling a sense of revulsion. It was a fantastic story, even if it was too formulaic for some people towards the end.

I really liked the conclusion of the first story, as it ended in a very dramatic manner reminiscent of the Godzilla movies. It leaves me to wonder, though, if this story will end as well for our protagonist...

Now that this is a series, I am very curious about the possibility of learning more about this strange supernatural force and its connection to an NES game.

Your new spritework is also fantastic by the way, and up to the quality of modern cell phone games and the like.

Being a reader of Creepypasta for some time, I found the prequel to be a very, VERY refreshing experience from the horribly shitty Pokémon ones that you can find all over the internet, especially deviantArt (one of the reasons of it being cool is the fact that I am actually familiar with Godzilla on the NES; so I could relate to most things). I hadn't felt dread like that in a long time; you did a well job with the pixel art to give it credibility to some extent (at least in the first few chapters). However, like several others have said before, by the end of Entropy and ESPECIALLY by the end of Zenith it didn't really give an 'intimidating' vibe anymore (but I don't think you were going for just "scary" by that point, just for an epic final battle against Red). Regardless, I truly loved it for the sheer fact that I hadn't read something remotely scary in months and this was a really refreshing experience. You did a truly amazing job on it and I loved it.

As for Replay, I really like the atmosphere of the Godzillasaurus levels for some reason, and once again, since I'm familiar with the regular game, I can relate to some things. I do hope that by the end it's not "hyper-realistic organs everywhere and hellfire and the game nearly killed me blaaargh" again, but your work is promising either way. Keep it up! 202.gif

You mean like regular monster walruses? The first adventure already had Maguma in the Artic levels.

Yeah, though I like Maguma, having him show up again in an ice themed level might be repetitive.

You might see a penguin though!
