Bug/ground seems like a natural choice for a burying beetle Pokemon. Or even dark/ground. A cave angelfish could be a water/ghost type, since it looks a bit ethereal.
I think a cockroach mon would have to be at least part-poison, since that seems to fit its scavenging habits better than a dark typing.

Oh, no, the title says "organisms" because there will be plants, fungi and single-celled life.
I feel like dark suits a cockroach due to their sneaky, shadow-loving dispositions.

I suppose. It seemed to me that since we've got a bunch of rubbish Pokemon that are poison type, then a pokemon of an animal known for hanging around rubbish would be poison type as well.

Or better yet, a Ghost/Electric. And an interesting Idea for Diplocaulus: Water/Flying, as a boomerang tornado type of thing. I had my cockroach as Bug/Steel in reference to the myth that they can't be killed.

Aw man, I should have said dark/psychic for a dolphin, what their big brains and the fact that a dark/psychic combo would only have ONE weakness:
Quadruple damage from bug moves.
Hell yes I want a badass dolphin that would get scared off by beedrill.

Dark/Psychic would be AWESOME, but it does seem like a bit of a stretch. Then again, the closest thing I made to a dolphin (or planned to, anyway) was an Ice/Electric narwhal. I've already had quite a few of my own ideas for ones that scythe missed, is anyone interested in hearin' em?

You don't have to ask, the whole point of a forum is posting whatever you want whether or not you're sure anyone cares (but I do!) There are actually fifty or sixty organisms I thought of and left out in the end as I cut it down to 100, so I probably didn't "miss" them so much as like some other ones more.
