Rise from your grave! I just found some awesome creatures deserving of this thread. Massive image dump incoming.
Kvelertak, by Kvelertak. The skull-faced lady is supposed to represent the sorcerer Fossegrim, who appears in a song on the album. The weird owl-and-ram-women conglomeration is my favorite part, though. That owl is a pimp.

The skull-faced ogre has one of the most aesthetically pleasing designs i've seen in a monster in a long time. I also enjoy the mini-Cthulhu cameo and the brooding Grim Reaper figure.

Not a monster per se, but this effigy-looking figure in tribal paint is certainly unsettling. Doubly so with the blood vessels/roots snaking every which way in the background.

More by Giger. The central devil has just enough of Giger's usual texture (in the horns and around the skull) to be recognizeable, but it isn't excessive. This looks reminiscent of some sort of disturbing manuscript illustration. The fact that the devil's face is hidden is neat, too.

As far as I can tell, this whole thing is anatomically accurate, but the way it's taken apart makes the face look like something wholly new. One for the uncanny valley team, that's for sure.

On the more whimsical side of things, this geometrically improbable beast looks like a refugee from an Escher print. The tentacular organism hiding in the cloud of smoke is cool in that it leaves you guessing.

Last one for now. This fallen-angel being combines the best parts of mummy and burn victim. There's an interesting
something in the background as well: just a tribal-tattoo background, or a two dimensional abomination from the gulfs of space? We'll never know for sure.
