Post the most awesomest video game creatures here!

I'll start off with the aliens from the Halo series, one of my favorite games for the aliens alone!

user posted image
The San'Shyuum, or the Prophets, are the leaders of the Covenant, the main bad-guy organization in the games. Only one ever enters a combat role. They have cool little floating chair things.

user posted image
The Sangheili, or the Elites, form the military backbone of the Covenant. They have four jaws, like the Predator, but you can't really see that with their robot armor.

user posted image
The Elites got kicked out of the Covenant eventually and were replaced by the faily boring monkey-aliens, the Jiralhanae, or Brutes.

user posted image
Now we get into the interesting stuff. This is a Huragok, or Engineer. They are artificial life forms that don't fight; they just fix stuff. They reproduce by getting together and building their child.

user posted image
My favorite Halo alien, the Mgalekgolo, or Hunters, are collectively sentient colonies of worms inside mechanical armor.

user posted image
The Yanme'e, or Drones. They're bug-men. They fly. They have a hive mind. Their name is derived from the Japanese yanma (dragonfly). They're badass mofos.

user posted image
The Kig-Yar, or Jackals. Creepy-as-fuck bird-lizard-men things. They're usually snipers or scouts.

user posted image
The Unggoy (which is the Tagalog word for "monkey"), or Grunts. They're supposedy arthropods, although they look more like...mutant cynodonts or something. They're the comic-relief aliens and I love them. "Leader dead, ru away!"

user posted image
This is a non-Covenant alien, the Flood. The Flood is an extragalactic collectively sentient parasitoid fungus that conumes sentient lifeforms. I FUCKING HATE IT.

I'm really impressed with the design of the baby griffon from "The Last Guardian".

rather than a classic griffon which has distinct body parts of either lion or eagle, this design melds avian & feline features rather well. It's the beak/muzzle that sells it

That thing's absolutely adorable.

Unfortunately since this is Team Ico it's probably going to die for the express purpose of breaking our hearts.

Metroids! They drain your life forces.
The ones from SR388 start as jellyfish-like things and grow into dinosaur-ish things

Metroids from Phaaze apparently become spider-like, eventually becoming Metroid Prime

Kraid was going to make an appearance in Metroid Prime, but didn't make the cut

Me too. I was PISSED that Metroid Prime 3 didn't have him. Just some lousy imitation (that took forever to beat).

Hopefully he and his Mini-Me clone will be Other M.

Seriously, every single enemy in that game is creepy and original, we should have a thread about it. If I can find a place where I can get images of them

Holy fuckballs, I remember that game! It was awesome
