Noticed that there seems to be a lot of aquatic monsters shown form ff3. All of them are awsome so far. On a semi related note, nice sucplts as usual macguyver.

Yeah, it's a shame the underwater monsters are so weak, I'd much rather grind with them than the generic human enemies in the Crystal Tower.

EDIT: MacGuyver, how much would it cost to buy a Hermit or Mandrake from you? Here's some Amano art to sweeten the deal. Also, some more analysiseses:

Slime/Red Marshmallow/Black Flan
user posted imageuser posted imageuser posted image

I like the disgruntled expression, and the way he sort of looks like a living blanket.

Tarantula/Darklegs
user posted imageuser posted image

Love those spindly legs! I also like the distressingly human teeth. Unfortunately, this design was completely butchered in the DS version:
user posted image
Why, Squeenix?! Why?!

Harpy/Dira
user posted imageuser posted image

I was originally going to write this off as a generic sexy monster chick, but there's actually some pretty cool details, like the tentacle-like hair and the wings instead of arms. It really looks like a bird that just sort of evolved humanoid features.

Gargoyle/Rock Gargoyle
user posted imageuser posted image

Nothing much to say.

Chimera/Chimera Mage
user posted imageuser posted image

It's a... chimera. Nothing to separate it from other chimeras. The Mage's palette is pretty cool.

Demon Horse/Nightmare
user posted imageuser posted image

It's a fairly standard horse enemy, but the Nightmare does have that awesome golden palette.

Bovian/Minotaur
user posted imageuser posted image

Nothing much of note, but I do like the expression.

Dread Knight/Gold Knight
user posted imageuser posted image

I like to think he's sort of flying around using his feet as boosters. FWWWWWWWWWWSH

And of course, more gold.

Abtu/Anet
user posted imageuser posted image

I love the horn, it makes it look like some sort of demonic narwhal. Its mindless eyes are also cool.

Kagura/Seahorse/King Seahorse
user posted imageuser posted imageuser posted image

I like the horn on this one, too. I also love the similarities between the Kagura and Seahorse palette, and of course there's that amazing gold palette. I have no idea why I like that one so much.

Charybdis/Remora
user posted imageuser posted image

I love the camouflaged look, this guy kind of looks like it could fit into real-world ecology. I also love Remora's palette.

Sea Witch/Mermaid
user posted imageuser posted image

Though the sprites are fairly uninspired, Amano's original art does have an excellent cybernetic bent, and I don't know why they decided to drop it:

user posted image

Ologhai/Plancti
user posted imageuser posted image

I love the monstrous face, tentacles instead of legs, and odd square build. Takes "crab monster" in the best possible direction.

Kelpie/Sea Lion
user posted imageuser posted image

Based on a dumb pun, but I like the jewelery. Lends them an air of civility.

Aegir/Agaliarept
user posted imageuser posted image

Mostly speaks for itself, but I like the asymmetrical eyes. Almost seems like a more powerful Carbuncle.

Drawcia was one of my favorite parts of Canvas Curse, and Marx is one of my favorite bosses in the whole franchise. I'm a sucker for jester monsters.

Other bosses I like:
user posted image
Chameleo Arm. The fact it changes colors in battle is a nice touch, but boy howdy is he is a pain to fight.
user posted image
Computer Virus. You just gotta love a boss that mimics the turn-based RPG in games like this. That, and the fact the actual boss is the windows, and the monsters it spawns are just minions.
user posted image
Squashini was my favorite boss in Epic Yarn. His boss fight was fairly inventive for this series, too.

Zero 2 is easily the most disturbing boss of any Kirby game. Its main attack is shooting globules of blood at you from its eye. It also looks like it's in constant pain, making it both pitiful and deeply unsettling.

And then there's its ominous, foreboding theme music:

It's also an angelic being, which taught us all from a young age that those can be scary too.
I never got to fight him, I was always too busy going after the cards at the end of each level to notice the crystal shards hidden in puzzling places.
I wanted to know all the enemies more than I wanted to finish the game.

Hey, I'm gonna have to leave for class soon, but have a couple more FF3 monsters.

Kyklops/Cyclops
user posted imageuser posted image

I like the vaguely befuddled look, but otherwise not much to say.

Boss Troll/Ogre/Fachan
user posted imageuser posted imageuser posted image

Meh. Ogre has the gold palette.

Kraken/Cenchos
user posted imageuser posted image

Much better! I like its monstrous face, and the mass of tentacles is always cool. Kraken is a boss character who you have to beat to get Jobs from the Water Crystal, and is notable for killing temporary party member Aria/Elia

Balor/Eater
user posted imageuser posted image

Wonderfully monstrous. I love all the extraneous spikes, especially the "tusks". The Eater's red palette is cool as well.

Pterodactyl/Drake
user posted imageuser posted image

Nice action pose, but not a lot to say otherwise.

Lilfut: While I appreciate the offer, my figures aren't for sale, nor am I interested in taking on any commissions.

Thanks for the link to the FF3 Amano artwork. It's a shame that all the monsters aren't represented, but it's cool to finally see more examples of his creature work from that game.

Eh, I got like a half-hour to kill.

Wyvern/Peryton
user posted imageuser posted image

Fairly standard wyvern enemies. Nothing to see here.

Behemoth/King Behemoth
user posted imageuser posted image

Pulled off the bestial look perfectly. Not a huge fan of the concept, but they did the best they possibly could with it. Like the King Behemoth's palette, too.

Dragon/Bahamut
user posted imageuser posted image

Awwww yeah. Now THIS is a force to be reckoned with! Awesome scaly design, and the action pose is cool.

Silenus/Chronos
user posted imageuser posted image

I like its hunched design, and the sword design is pretty cool.

Gaap/Bluck
user posted image

Looks demonic and cthuloid. A lot of really cool details here.

Azrael/Haniel
user posted imageuser posted image

YES! Oh my god, these are amazing. I like how the far right tentacle looks sickly and diseased. It's hard not to read the two mouths and one eye as a bizarre mockery of the human face, even though there's otherwise no resemblance. Also like Haniel's green eye.

Ouroboros/Greater Boros
user posted imageuser posted image

Meh. Standard naga enemy. Greater Boros has the gold palette, at least.

Zombie Dragon/Bone Dragon
user posted imageuser posted image

Love the diseased green coloration on the Zombie Dragon and the way the Bone Dragon is almost mossy-looking, and the way it resembles a snake is pretty cool. Pretty meh otherwise, though.

Death Claw/Iron Claws
user posted imageuser posted image

Looks almost like a bizarre human experiment! I love the way the flesh is stretched over its claws. This is the only really cool FF3 enemy design to reappear in later games as a recurring miniboss or powerful enemy, which is cool.

(also someone please resize the massive image that forces me to tab over to the "edit" button)

Me and some of my friends who play WoW recently had a group rant about what the next player race(s) should be, and it was brought up that the Nerubians wouldn't be so far-fetched an idea since Wrath of the Lich King introduced a small sect of still-living Nerubians who are mostly-friendly and just trying to rebuild their old way of life.

They could even be like the Pandaren and choose either Alliance or Horde since the ones in Wrath were quest-givers to both factions.

I would probably sign onto a free trial account for WoW if I could play as a bug.
Of course I'd never even consider paying for it. That monthly pay thing is horse shit, especially since the game doesn't appeal to me artistically or in the field of play style.

The final boss of Chris' campaign in Resident Evil 6 is a small feat in 3d modeling and texture. Might be hard to see in the below vid but there is a lot going on with this guy.

But there isn't any boulder punching. NO SALE
