I had my suspicions when Megaman Volnutt, but not regular ol' Megaman, was playable in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Even moreso when Zero, but not any Megaman, was in Marvel 3. Now, I know they're just fucking with people. And I completely approve.

In terms of the actual art this one's quite good. But it also doesn't tell you anything whatsoever about the game, other than that it contains two identical twins who have mixed feelings about their creepy Uncle Catface.

I think Jack Bros is in dire need of a remake that completely matches it's box art.

I have that game. It's a pain in the ass.

A werewolf, symbolizing man consumed by his animal instincts holds the american flag, implying that america too has regressed into primitive instincts. Shadowy figures representing the corporate elite surround the werewolf, determining where its animal rage will be focused. The name is also interesting, why is the werewolf the last warrior? Is it because modern man has lost his animal instinct? Only the werewolf can save america.

It's less a werewolf and more like a male pinup model from what would happen if a guy decided to make a magazine specifically for the furry demographic, but wasn't a furry himself and didn't quite get what they liked, so he had the model wearing just the pants and mask of a fursuit in order to show off his chest.

Jeez that was obtuse, I'm sorry everyone.

The exaggerated muscles demonstrate the powerful masculinity of the inner beast and from there, the 'ideal' american.

The games takes place on an american colony on mars, its begging attacked by mutants. Some guy named ken turns into a werewolf with hook hands and diced to save the colony.

I don't think we're quite finished with Werewolf: Last Warrior:

Look at Mario's mullet it is beautiful.

That is a beautiful Mario.

And Wizards and Warriors II features Fabio on the cover, which also makes it awesome.

Yeah, but it is kind of mean spirited of them to kick Mega Man's fans in the teeth like that after they fired Mega Man's creator and cancelled all of their upcoming Mega Man titles.

I hardly consider it a kick in the teeth. Besides, it's not like Megaman is really a character tailor-made for fighting games.
