But more on the topic at hand... Just how crazy can Sectilians get? I mean, we've heard that the maximum amount of parts that can be swapped for one to be considered a Sectilian is half, but could that be split down the middle? If limbs are swapped when there's an unequal amount, does the insect have all human limbs or two pairs of human limbs randomly placed?
I like Sectilians?

The insect will have whichever human parts the human lost, so if the human got six insect limbs, the insect would probably have two human arms and two human legs.

Really up to you though, just use your imaginations!

Well with overlords it's more about volume, they boss around whole legions of underlings with minions of their own with minions of their own.

But to get the thread back on topic, a question I'm surprised to realize no one's asked:
Are there items or anything to that effect? Cause I'd love to know what Mortasheen considers reasonable to carry with you.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't go anywhere without a flamethrower or a shotgun and a sack full of buckshot cartridges, but I'm guessing that isn't SCIENCE!!! enough.

It is if the buckshot is made with flesh eating nanobots!

A flamethrower or a gun would require a fairly scientifically advanced society to put it together anyway, it's not like squatting around and shitting some alchemy out or something.

I had an idea for a Mortasheen dish, a kebab made of sliced Bratwurm segments, cubes of Schmeep meat, and the entrails of a Hollowile. A popular dish at summer get-togethers!

I'm also confused about some of the monsters now that the Player Races have been announced. Primarily, what's the difference between the Gill Devil monster and the Gill Men player race?
Also, why does everyone think of Stomatopods when they see the Shrimp/Lobster Vampire? It's obviously a Skeleton Shrimp!

And finally, I would like to make an addendum to my previous statement that Mortasheen is like Black Mesa crossed with Rapture. I would now say that Mortasheen is like the Black Mesa complex crossed with the city of Rapture, but instead of being founded by Andrew Ryan, it was founded by Cave Johnson. I would have said Mortasheen is like Aperture Science crossed with the city of Rapture, but Aperture Science is too well maintained and organized.
