I would to start the new Kaijin Thread with the main monsters from "Juken Sentai Gekiranger: Nei-Nei! Hou-Hou! Hong Kong Decisive Battle".
Mechkung Fu
Practitioners of Mechkung Fu are composed of robots with the exception of their founder Yang, who claims his creation is superior to the Beast Fist.


Hong Kong Media King Yang:
Founder of Mechkung Fu and master of Mechkung Fu Antlion-Fist. He uses his position to hide his true intent: gathering the Qi of the fighters as part of his plan to become the strongest being and rule the world. He succeeds and becomes a cyborg Beastman as a result. His fighting style includes Sand Castle, creating a sandpit to drag his opponents into. He ends up dying in Mechanon when it was destroyed by GekiRinTohja.

Yang's Secretary Miranda:
Yang's assistant who is actually a Machine-Man that mastered the Mechkung Fu Sea Anemone-Fist, able to use her Petal Missile for offense and to find martial artists to bring to Yagn. Form there, she uses her Super Absorbing Qi to drain her opponents dry of their qi, to power Yang's transformation, getting the last amount from Rio as he killed her.

Machine-Men:
Robots created by Yang.

Mechannon:
The giant antlion robot piloted by Yang, hidden in plain sight as stone statue of the Kannon. Mechan Drop and Mechan Violent Wind Slash are used before GekiRinTohja scrapped it.

Those are really cool. I really, really like the design of Mechannon.

I'll have to check this series out.

I know that you guys are going to think that I am incredibly ignorant for asking this, but what exactly is a kaiju? I know it has something to do with Japanese monsters, but since I have never been interested in Japan I have never learned what they are precisely.

Actually this thread is about 'kaijin'. A 'kaiju' or 'mysterious creature' generally refers to a giant animal-like monster in Japanese film (daikaiju), whereas a 'kaijin' is a more humanoid, alien-like creature that tends to be human-sized. Hope that helps a bit.

The monsters of Choushinsei Flashman:
The Beast Warriors are the monsters which are hybrids of earth animal and alien genes. They are created by Keflen through an instrument called the Gene Synthesizer.
The Deus Beast Warriors are the later monsters which have superior genes from Ra Deus himself.

The monsters of Kousoku Sentai Turboranger
The Violent Demon Beasts are the monsters used in the field. Most of them have been sealed away while some were hidden. They are enlarged by their field commanders. When Lehda revived a Demon he played a tune on his staff that caused the Turborangers pain but made an image of his face appear and shoot down a tornado that revived and enlarged the demon. After Zimba's monsters are defeated, he made a hand gestures and a red tornado would revive and enlarge his beasts. Jarmin would open her mouth and a large fiery snake would come out and go into the sky and shoot down the same tornado as Zimba and Lehda. Zulten would just blow on his dried out blowfish and a blue tornado would come out and drain energy and lifeforce from the Turborangers to enlarge the beast. Not all monsters were evil as some decided to betray Lagorn to be with the human world.

Meet The Ayakashi, the monsters from the newest Super Sentai show, "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger" that have appeared so-far.

The Ayakashi are ancient spirits with nightmarish forms that serve the Gedoushu, dwelling within the depths of the Sanzu River until being summoned to go through the gap. However, they can only remain in the mortal world until they begin to dry up, returning to the Sanzu River to regain their moisture. Each Ayakashi has two lives, the second life allowing them to grow giant once they are slain in human-size battle.


Kagekamuro:
Kagekamuro is the first of the Ayakashi, armed with the Hikisôgantô (Joy and Sorrow Paired Face Swords), two blades that double as guns. Killed by Shinken Red in battle, Kagekamuro resurrects into a giant that is destroyed by the Origami. The giant face in his lower body made him the base of the Ôkamuro.

Ootsumuji:
Ootsumuji is armed with the Senpû Ôgamatô (Whirlwind Scythe Sword) and uses his hair to create gust of wind to hit his opponents in his Shinkûtsumuji Muchi (Vacuum-Whirl Whip) attack. Send to terrorize humans by causing massive damage and gathering all humans in the area, Ootsumuji is the first Ayakashi to be slain by Shinken-Oh. His appearance and abilities made him the origin of the legendary creatures called the Kamaitachi.

Rokuroneri:
Arrogant in personality, Rokuroneri's talent is his Kaina Nobashi (Stretching Arms), extending his arms to attack from long distences in the underground. Shinken Green manages to outwit Rokoruneri and kill him, with Shinken-Oh destroying the Ayakashi when revived. His Kaina Nobashi technique made him the base of the youkai Tsuchikorobi.

Namiayashi:
Namiayashi is a two-toned Ayakashi who is armed with the Aodake Dankatsusô (Green Bamboo Split Spear). Laidback and disturbing in personality, Namiayashi is sent by Shitari to increase the River by doing what he loves best, making others cry. Appearing in the mortal realm before a boy named Ryota, he accomplish his goal by tricking the boy with a false promise of seeing his grandfather again. His attack is the Tora Tsunami (Tiger Tsunami), creating a tiger from the right half of his body and a Sanzu River wave from his left to take out two opponents. He is killed by Shinken Blue and Shinken Pink, and then destroyed by Shinken-Oh. Due to his physical appearance and special attack, he is the base for the Suiko myth.

Yanasudare:
Yanasudare is an Ayakashi armed with the Ryûshi Rendanjû (Slim-thread Two-handed Gun), immune to any physical attack. He attacks whatever he considers pointless to exist in order to send humans into a state of utter despair. But as he can be hurt with Mojikara, Yanasudare is killed by Shinken Red using the Kabuto Disc's power and then destroyed by Kabuto Shinken-Oh. His appearance and his imperviousness to physical attacks made him the basis of the Fusuma of Japanese myth.

Zuboshimeshi:
Zuboshimeshi is an Ayakashi armed with the Shitasaki Sanjakutô (Tip of the Tongue Three-Foot Sword) sent to raise the Sanzu River by tapping in the mind of his victims and finding the one word that best desribes them negatively to turn their emotional pain into a physical one. Due to Shinken Yellow's upbringing, she is unaffected consciously and drives Zuboshimeshi off. Resurfacing later, he goes after Shinken Yellow until Shinken Green's meddling allows the Ayakashi's mouth to gagged, then immediately slain with the Kabuto Five Rings Bullet before destroyed again by Kabuto Shinken-Oh. His ability to see into the minds of others is the basis of the Satori of Japanese myth.

Yamiororo:
Yamiororo is a barnacle-like Ayakashi that is born in the depths of the Sanzu River, able to breathe out a poison that kills the victim in a few days and is armed with the Edamata Sensenken (Branching Sharp Fan Sword). Clinging to the Rokumon Junk and annoying Doukoku, Yamiororo is send to the mortal realm to do as much damage as his predecessor had done in the past. However the power of the Kajiki Origami neutralizes his poison as he is killed by the Kajiki Five Rings Bullet and then destroyed by Kajiki Shinken-Oh. His plant like appearance is the basis of the Kodama of Japanese myth.

Hitomidama:
Hitomidama is an Ayakashi armed with the Ôkaino Naritetate (Great Hand-Shaped Shield) who is able to take control over his opponents, making them puppets to his will. He used this ability on both Tora Orgami and Ryunosuke, having them fight for him. But after freeing Ryunosuke from Hitomidama's control, he frees the Tora Origami as the Ayakashi is killed by the Vassals and then destroyed by Tora Shinken-Oh. His eye-like head is the basis of the Hitotsume-kozô of Japanese myth.

I really like Namiayashi, but there are a lot of awesome ones there.

Allow me to introduce you to the kaijin who appeared so far in the new show, "Kamen Rider Decade"


N-Gamio-Zeda is the king of the Grongi Tribe in Kamen Rider Decade, also called "The Ultimate Darkness". He refers to himself as otherworldly because he should have never been revived. He is sealed and the Grongi are attempting to unseal him with a Sacred Gegeru, targeting five police women without spilling blood to revive him. Though they obtain four kills, Tsukasa uses Ai as bait to lure the Grongi out and gives her a nose bleed to ruin the Gegeru. The effects of the distortion revive Gamio anyways, and he uses his power to convert every human corpse within his Miasmic aura into a Grongi. Although his ultimate goal is to have his sired Grongi kill each other, Gamio is destroyed by Kuuga and Decade performing a combo attack.


The previous King of the Fangire Race, the Beetle Fangire was exiled for loving a human woman who gave birth to his half-breed successor, Wataru. Making himself see the coexistence and peace between the two races as nothing more than a farce for his son's sake, the Beetle Fangire breaks the peace by attacking humans to gather their Life Energy and reclaim his title, even stealing Kivat from Wataru. His actions of removing the law to restart past conflicts between the two races provide the motivation for Wataru to step up and truly claim his place as King of the Fangires. In the end, he is weakened by Decade's Kiva Arrow, then fatally wounded by a Dimension Kick/Darkness Moon Break combo. Revealing that he knew of the Fangire's true identity and intent before he dies, Tsukasa plays a final song for him before the man shatters.

(I know this guy's not really a monster but I thought he deverves a mention)

Kamata is actually the Paradoxa Undead, a Category King Undead who was brought into Ryuki's World by Narutaki in an experiment. Assuming the guise of sub-chief editor of the Atashi Journal, he appeared to support Tsukasa and company in their investigation of the scene of chief editor Reiko Momoi's murder to clear Natsumi Hikari, helping provide whatever info he could before he and Tsukasa are summoned to join the Kamen Rider Trial in the Mirror World. When Kamen Rider Imperer interferes in the fight, Abyss decides to take advantage of this turn of events to see Decade's abilities, overseeing the later fight between Decade and Knight before attempting to take them and Ryuki out. After learning that Shinji and Tsukasa believe Ren to be Reiko's murderer, Kamata decides to kill Ren so the truth about his involvement would not be revealed. However, once Ren acquires the Time Vent from Odin, Shinji uses it so he and Tsukasa can stop Reiko's murder, learning that Kamata is the culprit, using his Undead powers to kill Reiko to silence her as she uncovered his secret. Kamata, from the present, followed Shinji and Tsukasa after the Time Vent was used. He then merges with his past self then sends his Advent Monsters after Tsukasa before Shinji intervenes. After being defeated by Decade and Ryuki, with his deck shattered and his Advent Monsters destroyed, Kamata's true nature as an Undead is revealed by Narutaki who takes him back to his home: Blade's World where he works with Hajime in a plot to take over the world as the chairman of the BOARD Corporation. After helping Hajime steal the three other Rider Systems, Kamata helps him create the Joker Rouse Card. He is later defeated alongside the Joker by Decade and Blade.

Kamen Rider Abyss is unusual amongst the Kamen Riders in that he has two Contract Monsters: the Abysslasher, a humanoid shark that can fire high pressure streams of water, and the Abysshammer, a humanoid hammerhead shark. This is different from Kamen Rider Imperier, who has multiple Mirror Monsters at his beck and call only because they follow the true Contract Monster of Imperer: Gigazelle.

Kamen Rider Abyss' Final Vent enables Abysslasher and Abysshammer to merge into a single giant Shark with a chainsaw attachment (giving it the appearance of a sawshark when in use) and machine gun eyes. It is destroyed by Ryuki when Decade modified him with the Final Formrider card that enabled Ryuki to turn into Dragreder.

Unlike other Riders in the Mirror World, the loss of the Contract Monsters did not result to Abyss going into Blank Form.


The Paradoxa Undead is a Category King Undead able to create a blade-like wind from his forearm to kill his target. Normally, he is disguised as a man named Kamata. After being exposed in Ryuki's World, Kamata returns to Blade's World where he works with Hajime in a plot to take over the world as the chairman of the BOARD Corporation. After helping Hajime steal the three other Rider Systems, Kamata helps him create the Joker Rouse Card. He is later defeated alongside the Joker by Decade and Blade.


Momose is a student of Smart Brain High who is a member of the Lucky Clover: a group of top-ranked students who are actually Orphnoch. Momose's true form is that of the Tiger Orphnoch, possessing the power to revive Orphnochs on the verge of death. After learning the truth behind Faiz, Momose decides to take over the school and sire new Orphnoch from the student body. However, the Riders intervene and the Tiger Orphnoch is killed by Decade's Decade Photon.


Taurus Ballista, the Buffalo Lord, is one of the stronger Lords, armed with the Supremacy Torreana. He has Ant Lords as minions.

The Orphnoch
An Orphnoch is a fictional human evolutionary stage seen in the 2003 Japanese television series Kamen Rider 555. The Orphnoch are supposed to be the next stage in human evolution. They are stronger, tougher, and faster, with various other special abilities. The term Orphnoch is the combination of the names of a Greek mythological character, Orpheus, and a biblical character Enoch.

The newest Ayakashi to appear=^w^=

Okakurage:
Okakurage is an Ayakashi armed with the Sakasarokkotsu Tansô (Inversed Six-Boned Short-Spear), using it to conjure rain storms whose rain drops induce despair on those it rains on. Okakurage can also unfold the umbrella on his head to fly and thus have an advantage over his land-based opponents. Okakurage was killed by Shinken Green, overwhelming Shinken-Oh as a giant until DaiTenku is formed to counter the Ayakashi in the air before finishing him off. Due to his umbrella like head, Okakurage is the basis of the Kasabake of Japanese myth.

Ah, I had seen those grey kaijin before and wondered what they were all about. I really like the four-legged one. The snail guy is pretty cool too.

Iam not sure why the Orphnoch are white in color. Anyway, here is a better picture of the new up & coming Imagin for Kamen Rider Decade. For what I could see, I would have to guess that he's based on a dragon or something like that=^w^= We'll just have to wait and see.
