Creative, not simply 'adorablified' invertebrates in the girl's aisle! Way to break the glass ceiling, mollusks and arthropods! These could easily be reused for boy's toys, especially since the "cute" eyes only appear to be stickers, or just painted on.

It's mostly about Polly and her friends and nonthreatening dude, but I think there is a lot going on with their relationships with one another. Kudos to the toy makers for sneaking them in, but I think the Littlest Pet Shop creatures are FAR more surreal. Could be that I object somewhat to bright pink sugargliders, and ... I just don't know what to think of them. http://www.hasbro.com/littlestpetshop/en_U.../Ne-8u?Items=50 I think what gets me is that it's implying that all animals have the exact same bodies and freakish heads and neon colors, and it seemed like they're just recoloring the same bases to try to get "cool" pets. I mean, I was looking at a package that said to have not one but TWO pandas, and I couldn't find them. EITHER of them. They were identical to the other pets. Idk why I'm bothered by this.
