Awesomely enough, to me, the Philippines has had a few giant monster films of their own. But the only two I can find any info on are Tuko Sa Madre Kakaw
and Anak Ng Bulkan
(With the whole film on youtube!).
I hardly know a thing about Tuko Sa Madre Kakaw, other than the fact that it features a giant mutant gecko (Or "tuko.") that was created by a mad scientist. Heck, my family can't even understand what the title is supposed to mean (It roughly translates to "Gecko in Sister Chocolate"... Or something.).
Anak Ng Bulkan (Translates to "Child of The Volcano.") is about a small boy who befriends a giant monster bird. Everyone else, however, assumes that the bird is an evil beast that has to be killed. And yes, the bird came from a volcano. Like Rodan.
