So I'm sure anyone with a tumblr has seen and can get the jist of fandombound, and there was some talk (read: one pot, one response, one response to a response) about doing one for Mortasheen, I was wondering if anyone would like to help with that or had any opinions or whatever?

I figure that the character itself should perhaps be a lot more subtly uncanny seeing as it's stick out like a sore thumb otherwise, although it's not like that wouldn't be accurate as hell for the series
Maybe grab a couple of smaller mutations off the table and play up the mad scientist aspect

For a godtier title, I'd think a Rage aspect seems fitting, as Rage is "the belief in one outcome to the exclusion of others" and in mortasheen that outcome is death, although what with all the random chaotic everyday /stuff/ that happens it's perhaps not calculable enough to even register that
The other options I can think of are Life, as growth and energy, seeing as mortasheen always bounces back from whatever the hell you do it and actively improves on nature and adapts to an ever more fucked up world. Life also represents chaos according to some theories which mortasheen certainly has its share of
Doom seems at first like an easy fit, but I think it can be ruled out since one of the traits of it as an aspect is law and order, which, well, no

As for class I'd think it's be an active class for sure, of either Change, Create, or Destroy, so Witch, Maid, or Prince. The other three (steal, know, exploit) seem less appropriate.
If anyone has a problem with replicating canon titles then we can rule out Witch of Life, Maid of Life and Prince of Rage

any thoughts?

Prince of Life seems fitting. Destroy everyone else's life, and also your own.

And since it's also destroying WITH Life that's even more appropriate. That does seem about right, but I'd like some second opinions y'know

It's an interesting subversion of the Life aspect. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it's certainly apt. Everything in Mortasheen is alive, even if it's not life as we would recognize it; it's life, taken to its own absurd extreme. It's life at any and all costs. It's a ruthless, brutal sort of life that is the furthest departure from Trees, Blue Cats and Fern Gully that you can get.

And I like it.

Y'know actually that sounds like an overembracing of the hero role which would result in Mortasheen going grimdark which is very appropriate, isn't it?

And the inverse/shadow role for that would be a Sylph of Doom, so creating and/or repairing inevitability, law, order, sacrifice and death. I'm guessing not all of those. |P

What about a strife specibus?

Well, given what the mascot of Mortasheen is, it's probably gotta be chainsawkind.

Oh yeah, hadn't thought of that... woops. Maybe one modeled after the chainsaw kid and then a bit of bonesaw thrown in?
I had originally been thinking to do something from the mad scientist aspect, probably why I didn't think of chainsaw. If we go with that, acidkind or what would you call it makes sense too

They can probably alchemize some kind of fucked-up bio-science chainsaw that squirts acid and electricity or something.

Perhaps a bit like a sawfish, but even more toothy, if that makes any sense. For some reason I really want this chainsaw to just be COVERED in yellowing, serrated teeth.

That actually sounds just like something that fucking alchemiter would spit out, too. Maybe with a bit of placque for added infectin potential

maybe it sprays placque instead of acid

(mostly i find fandombound to be the most insufferable expression of modern culture humanly possible)

BUT IF WE WANT A MORTASHEEN FANDOM CHARACTER THING I THINK IT SHOULD BE A BIG TUMOR WITH A HOCKEY MASK OR SOMETHING

on the other hand maybe it should be the sbahj of fandombound
