So anyways they just unveiled new Slivers for the next core set coming out, and they're humanoids. Rather tacky looking humanoids, honestly.
But I posted on the Magic forums in a thread about them, and speculated maybe they're swarms of slivers wearing humanoid exosuits and someone from Wizards R&D responded that I was mostly correct. -------------------- The reviews are IN!

The former is part of the Boros, which is basic Ravnica's police force. They're outright fascistic at best - in the original Ravnica trilogy, everyone in the Boros is okay with a police state -, and their current leader is pretty much demented.
Th latter is a main villain in the Odyssey arc, who has murdered even members of his own Order. |
