Now that is what I call a room. I actually feel like watching it multiple times just to catch anything I might have missed. Congratulations on finding those abyssal fish toys you were looking for.

I also recoiled when the GIGANTIC Hanging Ghost came into view. It's as though the ghost was having his friend direct the video.

Again, awesome collection. I also notice that you have an unboxed Majaba (presumably the orignal) as well as one mint in box. That's actually amusing because I recently picked up a second Majaba figure in box off of eBay (my original is still in one piece, but some of the paint is chipped around the eyes from its many years of backyard adventures). I also somehow ended up with three Bogun figures, not counting the two smaller ones I picked up (the two headed snail/tadpole thing on the shelf with Majaba for those who aren't familiar with the Ultraman monster)

I see you also have the Bandai Creations Hedorah, which many people don't like as much as the Bandai Japan figure. One interesting thing about the Bandai Creations Hedorah, however, is that it is heavily hunched over and lacks the egg case on its back. Earlier in the film Godzilla vs The Smog Monster, Hedorah has a quadrupedal immature form which it can transform into when not in its more famous flying form. While I am not sure if they planned it or not, the Bandai Creations Hedorah makes a nice immature Hedorah, and might be the only figure of this form that has ever been made.

Super geeky I know. Just thought I would throw that out there. smile.gif

They aren't the abyssal fish I posted looking for, actually. They're the set I had since childhood. There's ANOTHER set, with even more obscure and amazing species, that I'd give anything to see...it has a wolftrap angler!

The giant Brundlefly is a non-poseable vinyl statue I found at a collectibles place a few years ago, dated just a couple years after the film. I can find no mention of it existing anywhere else.

Also, your plushie collection is both impressive and absolutely adorable.

At 1:03, above Koffing... is that a picture of Amanaman? What does the text above his head say? Just curious.

It's the first picture I ever printed, when I thought printing images was a magical new technology. It's a shot of the Amanaman prototype model and says...Amanaman prototype model tongue.gif

They're sold at the dollar tree and they're nothing but very common rubber insects (mostly beetles) with glitter thrown all over them.

Of all the things I noticed, it was the Creepy Crawlers oven that made me go "OOH! OOH!"

I wanna see a vid from ground level.

How do you find these kind of things?! Fiends without a Face, Brundlefly, glow-in-the-dark abyssal fish, Oogie Boogie, Poison-type Pokemon...

Easily!

The fiend was advertised a bunch on Halloween prop websites when it came out.

The fish were made by the same company responsible for those dinosaur replicas and other educational figurines that you can find at tons of retailers, but they were only around for a few years in the early 90's.

Oogie Boogie has had plenty of merchandise, Nightmare has had at least three separate action figure lines.

Pokemon are everywhere of course, those all came from plain old Toys R' Us and Wal-Mart, except for a couple of Pokemon finger puppets I found at Otakon.

The giant Brundlefly is the only major obscurity, like I said I can't find mention of it even existing online! It had been sitting for years behind the counter at a comic store sort of place before I finally bought it for $30.

The smaller Brundlefly was just a Mcfarlane figure available everywhere one year.

"Available everywhere one year."

Yeah. that pretty much summarizes the pain I went through trying to find the NECA Ghostbusters figures that came out a few years ago. They are now almost impossible to find and the dogs go for about $70 US on eBay. sleep.gif

Anyway... why 'bling' bugs? I know the makers of dollar store toys are known to create some pretty bizarre stuff, but that really tips the strangeness scale for me.

Why is there no article on the article area?
