Haha, good idea about the wolves. I think the "wolf" part should have Truant or something so they're even more useless until you "tame" it into the ugly final evolution, sort of like the opposite parallel of the Slaking line.

But I do just lump it under "virus" in general.

A virus pokemon would likely resemble a phage if only because they're the most visually striking of all viral bodies. I've seen them in a few cartoons and video games already!

I always liked how Retroviruses resemble the head of a morning star. I could see any viral pokemon as being poison/steel.

Bug/Water
Evolves into SCUMSQUITO at level 18

Clingill congregate in massive numbers on the edges of ponds. When attacked, they rocket through the water with alarming speed.

SCUMSQUITO (scum + mosquito) - The Lifesucker Pokemon
Bug/Flying

A common pest that feeds by absorbing energy from both people and Pokemon alike. It despises candles and will flee when presented with one.

BARNACLAW/BARNATTACH (barnacle + attach) - The Sessile Pokemon
Water/Rock
Evolves into RUSACLE at level 26

They spontaneously sprout on rocks and sunken vessels. On certain occasions, a colony of Barnaclaw will make their home on other Pokemon.

RUSACLE (ruse + barnacle) - The Birdmimic Pokemon
Water/Rock
Evolves into BARNACANO while holding Charcoal

What people think is a lone bird Pokemon floating on the open ocean may in fact be Rusacle attached to a log. Their tentacles can stretch to snag food from the water.

BARNACANO (barnacle + volcano) - The DualFlame Pokemon

It is thought that the initial creation of the Oil Lagoon transformed Rusacle into Barnacano. If two burnt logs harboring this Pokemon collide, they join together.

Always swimming with its head towards the ground, it carries the stingers of Tentacruel and uses them as weapons.

SIRENAURA (siren + sayonara) - The Veil Pokemon
Ghost/Water
The souls of those who died at sea may eventually become Sirenaura. Feeding off love, it lures in sailors with a colorful cape resembling a beautiful woman, revealing its true appearance only after its prey has been entranced.

SKIRSTINK (skirt + stink) - The Rotting Pokemon
Grass/Ghost
Evolves into HARMOLDIUS at level 32
Skirstink float in the wind, surrounded by clouds of their own foul-smelling spores. Dipterror are attracted to these Pokemon and will steal these spores for their own use.

HARMOLDIUS (harmonious + mold) - The Melodic Pokemon
Grass/Ghost
Although its stench is as strong as a Gloom's, its vocalizations are amazing. It can mimic the cries of almost any Pokemon it encounters, and its "default" voice, a haunting call, can echo through the forests for miles.
