The Ducktales certainly looks remastered.
The D&D thingthing, though, that looks to me (though I'm no expert) like they just emulated the arcade games and tacked on a "challenge mode" and "house rules" and junk.
Huh.

That because that what it is: keep in mind Duck Tales had NES graphics/sound the D&D beat-em ups had CPS-2 graphics/sound.

Well, yeah, Anyone, I know that.
My point is that both games were presented as "remastered".
While they absolutely updated Ducktales, they did no such thing with the D&D games.
And although CPS2 is wonderful, it seems lazy and kind of a douche move to say "hey, we made this old game cooler" when all they did was emulate it and tack on a new mode.
But then again, Capcom.
That does explain things, I guess.

My first though when I read this was, isn't Ash Ketshum too dump to play poker? Though Brock does have a great poker face...

Its more of a poker state of being.

I am still super confused as to why Far Cry is about:P

Camilla: You, sir, should unmask.
Stranger: Indeed?
Cassilda: Indeed it's time. We have all laid aside disguise but you.
Stranger: I wear no mask.
Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda.) No mask? No mask!

If I remember correctly, originally it was about mutants and aliens or something like that.

The first Far Cry was set on a tropical island; it had a linear progression of levels but the level were often fairly wide open, large, and could be approached in multiple ways. The main story was about a mad scientist making mutants called Trigens.

Crysis was also set on a tropical island; it had a linear progression of levels but the level were more often very wide open, very large, and could be approached in multiple ways. The main story was about about of team of elite soldiers with super powered nano-suits trying to investigate a North Korean discovery of an alien device; then the aliens with cryogenic based technology wake up. It was the quintessential tech demo game and gaming rigs today slow down at some points when the game is set to max settings (all the ice effects in particular).

Fry Cry 2 takes place in the African plains; it's open world. It's about tracking down and trying to kill a guy (who saved your character's life from malaria at the start of the game); comparatively mundane.

Crysis 2 was set in a quarantined New York City; it had a linear progression of levels and the levels were smaller then even Far Cry's tended to be; the aliens no longer had their cryogenic based technology and were now in humanoid battle suits. The changes were made so consoles could handle the game. Crysis 3 more of the same but regained some of the first game's greatness.

Fry Cry 3 was set on a tropical island (that turns out to be an eldritch location but subtly so) and was open world. Many drugs are taken during the course of the game.

Fry Cry 3: Blood Dragon is an officially made stand alone expansion/total conversion that's a big sloppy wet kiss to the cheesiest aspects to 1980s action films. Many drugs were taken during the course of making the game.

Who wanta' some "hirariousry" self-aware tongue-in-cheek racism:
A new Shadow Warrior game is being made:
http://shadowwarrior.com/

Some sources says it will be a complete reworking but to put things in context for those who do not know about this game

They always look a deep, dull, slightly brownish shade of purple to me.
