That's just really sad. That these people, who are obviously impoverished, uneducated, just got out of jail, and one of them has HIV, are so desperate that they're able to find hope in the patterns of mold in their shower, which is in itself a sign of poverty and desperation. It's like, they don't even realize just how out of sync they are. Like they're saying, "well, everyone's got mold in the shower, but we're special, we have JESUS mold!" and you hate to be the one to point out that no, not everyone has mold in their shower.


Also, an infant baby. In a house with mold.


Very, very sad.

Given that the image of Jesus that has been popularized is pretty much regarded as looking nothing like what Jews of his era and region would have actually looked, isn't more plausible that all those instances of "Jesusface on _____" are actually images of the dude I just quoted?
