So I'm sitting by my computer when I hear what sounds like a duck outside my window. Like, RIGHT outside.
However, I'm on the second floor, and I saw no duck fly by. Looking out into the yard, there was no duck there either. So, where was the duck? I shall look for it. 1. Not yet. Breaking out the back-up generator just in case. 2. It's cold in here, but maybe it's the air conditioner. Nevertheless, I will burn books for warmth if it comes to it. 3. I'm afraid this duck is rather anomalous.

Nothing on the roof but a dead squirrel. I'm afraid it might be a warning.
On the way back, I felt as if I was being watched. Arming myself with a broom handle in case of attack. Edit: It appears a Luke Skywalker figurine has gone missing. The duck may be in the house. I'm going to need more than a broom handle. Double edit: Heard the duck again, it's definitely still outside. Upon looking out my window I could still see nothing.
