Ridley Scott is basically my biggest mancrush, and when he does science fiction I get downright horny for him, so even if there's no Aliens in it, I'm sure I'll go see it. Probably multiple times.

Yesterday while suffering the web i came across thisthe trailer and a but load of srceen shots for this movie.
They describe it as a science fiction "epic," so I don't know if you can really call it a prequel at this point. It seems like more of a companion piece.

I know a lot of people who think Aliens was completely retarded action movie schlock...and I can see where they're coming from
"Aliens" is the superior film! "Alien" didn't have no MECHA fights, you turkey! I guess it was just too subtle for you to fully appreciate.

I like aliens but not as much as alien. But the hole ponit of aliens is very different form the original. The originals was never about the xenomorph but rather how terrifying the vast emptiness of space is. Aliens is more of a monster mash movie.

I misread the word 'prequels' in his post as sequels. herptyderpty.

I like all the aliens movies( even the 4th and first AvP), even though the comic storyline, that begins after aliens, is a tad bit better. the only bad thing I have seen of alien is the colonial marines comic, and that introduces the coolest dude in the entire alien franchise, Herk Mondo.

I was, but bringing up the AvP movies is a good point.

Well, the first film was basically a space slasher film. The second... wasn't.
