  It's better, but I'm still going to have to grumble at the mouth.
There shouldn't be teeth of any sort visible, because the tubes fill the entire mouth.

  If possible, make his legs and arms tucked under him too, sort of visible from the side. The anime made them a sort of olive-green colour, not skin colour. I'd make him either corpse-coloured or olive green.

Like, at all.
The ones in the manga had wide, blank stares, tubes going into their mouths, and boils and crap all over. That one just looks like a spider person wearing striped grey leggings.

Building off of this, I think making the eyes white would improve things, and I second adding tubes. It just kinda looks like he's growling or snarling right now.
