Whoever did that might as well change rest of the gray text on the forum as well. The only color that has a shot at being less popular than gray is brown, the color of poo.

Yeah, white is not very distinctive from light gray and dark gray.
There should be a poll.

Same, I only really noticed the links were white when I read this thread.
Although everybody else seems to be having links go rainbows on them, which honestly sounds pretty cool.

There was a brief space where I got the go-ahead from Scythe to change the link colors to something more noticeable, and I messed around, laughing at the godlike powers which I possessed.
And now we have brighter link colors. BEHOLD
I could change it again, though. What does everyone suggest?

This is a super old and no longer relevant thread :P
But I missed when people were complaining about the grey. Really? I think it's pretty much the only not-ugly thing for text and backgrounds to be. Colors of any sort risk looking tacky and bright white is the worst.
