Pyro-Gibberish Studios is currently working on a spin-off game of the Mortasheen series. This has been officially approved by Jonathan Wojcik, and he's decided to help with concept, mechanic, and maybe tileset/background designing. We're planning a platformer starring Chainsaw Kid, following his journey across several notable locales of Mortasheen. We're not too far into development, but I'd you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to post them here! I may have an answer. If Jonathan wants to, he could drop in and answer a few as well! :)

Sounds pretty awesome. Any levels in particular planned?

A breeding factory will probably be the first level, followed by the sewers, then the Mortasheen city streets, et cetera. This is just a rough guess of the order of the levels, and they could change at any time.

Hm, maybe give the game a fun puzzle solving element? Like maybe Chainsaw kid ha a bunch of different power-tool-based masks he uses to do certain things?

We were planning on adding a couple puzzles, especially with the bosses. In one, you may have to lure the boss into a certain spot and chop a support barrier, and in another, you may have to climb up the boss' body and slice up its head! There are also going to be some extra mechanics that we will implement into some puzzles later on.

Will this be a paid title or a free title?
