BLOOD AND THUNDER is an original RPG that pulls from many different sources of inspiration in the supernatural genre. The entire concept behind it is "What if fictional characters or concepts did exist?" Would they be laughing at their own legends or so called 'creators'? We pull from a great deal of fiction to make this hybrid world. We accept characters from any sort of fiction, as long as they are adapted to our story and concept. Original characters are welcomed and encouraged as well.

WEATHER; Weather in the Unreal City is typical of weathers in New York City during the month of December. Snow is everywhere and its mostly overcast, with occasional sunny days that shine bright and moonlit nights. During the winter, the Northern Lights are a fixture in the sky when the night is clear. The city usually braces itself for one or two snowstorms, some of which that can get rather violent.

The Penitentiary is located in the heart of the city and is protected by powerful magics that prevent those locked inside from exiting. It is run by the Wardens, a powerful family of warlocks and has been run by them for generations because they are well known for their talent in defensive magics.

The Station
The main train station and transportation hub in the Unreal City. It is the epicenter of where all of the portholes around the world lead to. It looks like an old train station with Gothic like arches and portals that lead to every corner of the world.

The Wall
A huge wall that surrounds the perimeter of the city. It is imbued with the ashes of cremated supernatural beings and their latent magics keep the city hidden from eyes all around. There are four exits located North, East, South and West, as well as a large walkway on the top of the wall. The view is simply the forest and mountains around the city.

Located in the Ravenside District, Potter's Pub is a local hangout for all kinds looking for a good time. The decor is simple, pine everywhere with leather booths and a small stage for bands to play. They have the occasional karaoke night on special days. It's run by a man by the name of Harry Potter.

A bar located in the French Quarter, owned by the Giovanni, in particular Daniela Giovanni. There are live shows nightly, featuring different kinds of genres of music. Red velvet covers nearly every inch of where you can sit and the walls are painted black. There are private rooms for business and pleasure.

Highgate Cemetery
A cemetery located in the French Quarter. Lush grounds and large oak trees hundreds of years old stand here and the caskets and tombs that lie above and below grown hold the dead. This is sacred land. Demons are unable to step an inch past the rough iron fence's border.

The Petrified Forest
A restaurant located underground, with white ash trees that line the terrain and private tables that are canopied. The caverns are illuminated by the walls themselves, made out of an luminous substance that takes the least amount of light that amplifies it. Each table has its own chef and servant to meet their every needs. It all overlooks an underground lake that glistens silver.

A hospital close to the downtown area of the Unreal City, lying just near there and the start of the New Avalon district. It has the best in human and supernatural care, with lots of beds and plenty of gauze for those bloody injuries and life threatening situations.

A former church, St. Xavier's was bought by the Vaughns, a prominent Kinetic family. After the death of the patriarch of the family, his daughter Abigail has taken over as leader of the Northerners. St. Xavier acts as a safe haven and learning center for kinetics in the city.

Venuvale Grove
Created when the walls surrounding the Unreal City split through a natural Boreal forest. The plant life grew according to the weather patterns set up within the magics of the city. Filled with rustic walking paths, hiking terrain, creeks, ponds and camp sites at its center lays a open field for the best star gazing. The Grove is considered a natural park on the outskirts of the Dilettante. Wilderness festivals, rituals, training, and hunts all take place within Venuvale.

A satellite radio station that streams music and news programs. It is based in the Unreal City. It's most popular broadcasts is "Request Line" with DJ Ambrose, a DJ who has yet to reveal her true identity and seems to have a knack for picking and choosing songs that apply to certain people in the city.
