I grew up watching the Andy Griffith Show. Oh well...it's everyone's time to go sooner or later. He seemed to live a productive a life. Not all his projects were hits. One TV show I remember, and they labeled it sci-fi was called; Salvage 1. Ran in 1979. Griffith was re-inventing himself. He played a specialist in reclaiming trash and junk in order to sell that as scrap. The prize being the Apollo stuff left on the Moon. Finders keepers I guess. Author Isaac Asimov served as the show's scientific adviser. Did well at first, and then died out pretty quick.

Ritz Crackers: "Anythings good on a Ritz Cracker"....I'll always remember him for these commercials as well.

while it's said that he died, i'm not denying that. i don't consider him a legend but to each their own. honestly i like "Don Knots" a LOT better than "Andy Griffith" actually if you look at "The Andy Griffith Show' there's a LOT of goofy looking fucking people on that show.

they are pretty damn ugly. NOT that "Ronny Howard" was ugly he wasn't. but that's a show i just i'm sorry can't stand' i love 60's tv shows my favorite show of all time is "Lost In Space" & "Dark Shadows" the Top 2 favorite shows in that order.

i just love old shows that were made back than. but i've tried to watch through the years "The Andy Griffith Show" numerous times & i just don't find the show funny at all. i hate that damn theme as well.

i'd rather watch 'My Mother The Car" & honestly i don't think i've even seen that show before. a better & funnier show was "My Favorite Martian"

& i just could NOT STAND "Matlock' i was thrilled when that FINALLY ended i remember feeling like it had been on for 20 years! i know it wasn't granted but that's how it felt to me. i think my grandmother liked that one.

if you want to watch a great Court show with a late actor "Perry Mason" both the original show & the various tv movies. there are some good ones in there.

but if you guys like his shows than to each their own i guess.

Not familiar with too much of his work, but I got a copy of SPY HARD. He had some funny lines.
